I loved hearing the drums first because I was filling it in with a guitar riff in my head and it is so interesting to see how different what my minds eye and your minds eye came up with!

The riff reminds me of The Saw Is The Law by Whitechapel! But damn that tone was dirty af, the strat tone is insane 😮

I just realized that I don’t think I know a single person who is really good at guitar and ALSO really good at drums. They are always mutually exclusive in my experience for whatever reason. I can tell from that one clip that you have actual drum chops. So yeah, uh, nice!

you can add low latency mode up top by the metronome on and off you click customize then check low latency or add the freeze button to all the tracks!!!

Just came across your channel the other day, and love it. I've been spending too much time - for awhile now - getting lost in programming drums for an entire song that doesn't melodically exist, and then wanting to make some new-ass stuff on guitar to accompany the idea I made percussively, but never actually doing it. I overthink it. This doesn't help me out, cause your tone separates you from everyone I've ever heard, including Josh Travis. But it's great to see you doing it in your own process, in a daily format for RU-vid and stuff, constantly pushing yourself to create and create. Also it's most brutal to hear that sound coming out of a Strat

I was a drummer before I was a guitarist and I actually track like this often.

This one rips hard! :) Maybe try and see if you can lower the threshold for the kick pad to stop triggering the kick's "ghost notes" you were talking about. It might stop triggering when you play below for example 60 (of 127) Hope this helps!

I think you might be sitting a bit low and too far forward for the bass drum pedal, so you've got less control over the pedal, but also you can adjust the drum trigger sensitivity to reduce the false triggers

I get some Whitechapel, "The Saw is Law" vibes as far as the riff is concerned. Also sounds kinda similar to your last video where u demoed Djinn Bass. Either way, love your stuff man. 🤘
