OMG this is exacly the video I was waiting for. I've been procrastinating my final essay in order to graduate as a psychologist. Literally, i just have to end it and send it to my tutor for her approval and I'll be done with school! But is been so difficult because I keep trying to make it perfect, so I never move forward. :( I'm gonna try to think about it the way you do Nasir! Thanks for the motivation!!

Hey Kharma Medic I used to be an electrical apprentice 3 years ago after high school in Australia. I started watching your videos at the time and it made me realize how much I wanted to study. I took the smaller courses I needed to meet the requirements as I didn't do well in high school and now I am studying computer science. The study with me sessions kept me focused and made enjoy studying as I didn't feel alone especially during our 6 lockdowns here . What you said at the beginning of the video Nasir was what I needed to hear the most. I've been writing my thesis for two years now, and I procrastinate a lot because of fear. I wish I can just write big amounts of words in a few hours, but I can't, I find it hard knowing that the topic is about statistics and numbers (I have to compare different vaccines, their immunology, efficiency...)... And, I'm a perfectionist! It's a big paralyzing flaw. I guess I just need to get it done ASAP, regardless of quality, because I can't handle the stress anymore. Even though I'm not sure if I can finish it in less than a month😬 (If you have any tips, it would be highly appreciated)

hello doc! i’m a second year pre-med student and i’ve been hanged up by an essay quiz that i have for over four days now because i’m scared that it won’t be perfect once i start. but the moment you said that essays are subjective and someone may or may not like it, i had an epiphany! you’re right. what may be perfect for me might not be perfect for my professor, especially if there’s no objective rubric provided. so, i’ll finally get to do that essay quiz today! thank you for being my inspiration. 🤍

It's like you climbed mountains, swam oceans and even walked on lava as obstacles to get to the finish line and you have this last obstacle course which is like not getting tripped by a pebble. And that's all that's stopping you from crossing that finish line.

Reflective essays are such a chore, I enjoy writing case reports. By far, what I detested about medschool is logbooks. The fact that I have to do a tiny thing and make sure some doctor signs it off. One of my logbooks were legit 89 pages. So glad that's over. I wrote my final paper today on integrated primary care. Goodluck to you Kharma, I haven't followed you for long but I relate a lot to your situation.
