When it comes to our work, we must surrender the timeline to God. It's hard a lot of the time when things don't end up happening on your timeline. It's hard to not put those parameters on ourselves and our work. There isn't anything wrong with it, but I've noticed a habit Paul used in his letters when talking about plans he wanted to make. He would say if it's God's will for me to visit you, to send this person, to do this, to be here, etc. I'm just a person on the internet who has watched you since your NYC days, so you wouldn't know me from Jane, but... I'm proud of you. I'm grateful that there is literature that is going to come out to help women see the beauty and goodness of motherhood. It's something I've noticed and have tried to create content on for years. As mothers we do die to our old selves, but the new self. She is so beautiful and more resilient than ever before.

Writing is a lot of work and isolation. I think bc people can read books pretty fast they think writing takes a short time too, but it can take months to years to write. I admire all good writers bc I know it takes a long time. I took. 3 years just to write my dissertation. I can only imagine a book!!

I'm writing a book too. Mine was also due in May, but I didn't meet that deadline 😅 greatness takes time, though. Just keep doing at least 1% each day. Small efforts build to major progress 🌱

Writing a book is no small feat. And designing it??? Congratulations! It does take a while, though. Three months was...a nice thought. 😅 I always say that it takes as long as it takes. Side note: It doesn't have to take 7 years (well, 7 summers really), like my novel is taking me. 😄

I just watched the latest video on the Max and Maya channel. I was overjoyed when I saw that you also dropped a new video. Pre-ordered your labor of love and I can’t wait to read it. Yes writing can be lonely. It's autonomous work , especially when you're writing fiction of 70-100k words. I just finished the 2nd revision of my book and about to query agents, but it has definitely been a journey. LOL. Good luck.

birthday is 5/20?? Sooo does that make you a taurus??? That explains the need to control. I was raised by a taurus (I am a leo). And control is a big trait of people with that sign. But it's good that you're learning to "go with the flow". There's a book about this (or several) to put into your arsenal. Shonda Rhymes -- year of yes (a great read) and the surrender experiment by Michael Singer.
