As a non religious person I highly respect his approach to sharing what he believes in, no forcing or negativity towards non believers just sharing for who may be interested, if only the rest of the world could learn to not condemn those with different beliefs and respect everyone In their own opinions this world would get along a hell of a lot better
Well he did know that this show was gonna be a live DVD so he obviously tried to sing as well as could where as other shows he can be less perfect and people won’t care.
This video proves that he’s a hypocrite. I’m glad he finally admitted he doesn’t believe that nonsense. Jesus is not real. Christianity is evil. Read your Bible. It’s one of the most disgusting books ever written. Every good thing is overshadowed by countless atrocities and plain evil.
After hearing the new song he did with bmth and seeing this it breaks my heart 😔 praying for you Spence! I know the church hurt you and the band but they’re not Jesus and God loves y’all more than we can imagine. Man these guys were so special. Crazy good music with a crazy good message behind it. So much better than the metalcore bands these days that regurgitate breakdown after breakdown to generic chorus to breakdown with a generic lyric video of their generic "FUCK YOU YOU FUCKING BITCH" lyrics. Miss these guys to death
forever one of my all time favorite bands! I've learn to deal with my conflicts by venting through music. Underoath was not only an escape for me, but a connection. I can relate to the lyrics emotionally & mentally. They may parted ways & came to disagreements with one another but there music is forever in my heart & serves as a legacy.

"All my respect to the believers out there"... i am sick and tired of people saying, "I hate Christians!" or "Stop praying for me it's insulting" thanks you for understanding that it is what we believe in, and it's who we are, and i mean that! :)
Spencer and the rest of the fellas are such wholesome dudes. It's really hard not to love them with how they honestly care so much about their fans they go above and beyond to walk right beside their fans. It's really awesome! Also when the breakdown hits and Spencer screams WE WALK ALONE!!! Hands down that is my favorite part of any song ever!!!
Well if its true and God exists, he is omnipotent(Having unlimited or universal power, authority, or force; all-powerful), omnicient(all knowing) and he is everywhere at once. See if you believe in God, you believe that he is all powerful, he's everywhere, and is all knowing. God is, was, and always will be.
Aaron Gillespie is one of the most talented musicians ever. amazing drumming AND beautiful vocals - the man is a role-model to say the least. I LOVE UNDEROATH.
*sigh* We also say that God loves EVERYBODY. And we do want to help people, by showing them LOVE. And the LOVE of God. Sadly many "Christians" don't see this. We do believe that God is the only way to heaven, so what? That doesn't make you guys any less of a person as I or any other Christian is. And sadly, this world IS obsolete. EVERYBODY is,(yes even us Christians) But we believe God came to save us and show us His love. Try it sometime.
Robert Wells They both still play music lol. They're like the only two members of Underoath that still are professional musicians lol. Aaron sings and plays guitar for the Almost, is working on his second solo album, and currently plays drums for Paramore, and Spencer sings and I think plays guitar for a new band he made called Sleepwave! Check it out!
I was here in Philly, my first underoath show. One year later I go back but as I looked closer I saw that Aaron is not the one on the drums. My heart broke right there. That’s how I found out they were breaking up. Glad they’re back touring.
for those of you who dnt know y Aaron left the band, it was cuz he saw that underoath was heading in the wrong direction (spiritualy) nd plus, the other 5 members thought that aarons parts were too "poppy" nd they wanted sumthin heavier

the mic cable has a relatively fragile connection. the tape is there to put the strain of the swing on a more stable part of the cable, away from the trs connector
Just saw them Saturday night at the Electric Factory in Philly, and before they played Writing on the Walls, Spencer came down and let me call out the song on his mic... night was fucking surreal
I grew up listening to UO and saw them bunch of times live and once when Dallas was still in the band. Now my little brother is growing up and loves UO i promised him I would take him to see em live now theyre breaking up and it breaks my heart i cant keep my promise.
But the good part is, God loves us and DOESN'T want us to go to hell. All we have to do is say we love him. All we have to do is accept him as our Father. Think about it, if you never respected your dad, and hated him, and made his life HELL, do you think he would ever let you into his house when you got older? No he wouldn't. However, God is different, he loves us no matter how much we reject him. Its like not accepting a free gift. Only with..worse consequences.
aaron was the only original member from day one to bad i missed the chance to see them live twice in his last days in underoath...i guess all good things must come to an end
