I actually got really excellent results when I tried mine out today. I used the same Crafter's Companion large stamp and I just made sure to push the press all the way to the top and the right every time I stamped to prevent ghosting.
So I didn't even look for WRMK things for craft day so I totally missed this. Thanks for the review. Pinkfresh Studios has some 4 x 12 stamps now with layering stencils and dies that this would work for. But the little shift could be a problem.
I have a hinged precision stamp press I got from HSN love it. I thought about getting this. To stamp out more than one. But it's a little pricey. In my opinion!!! Thank you for always being honest! Love that about you! Your awesome!
I’m so glad your video is here. HSN is sold out so I couldn’t watch their video on how to use it. I wonder if I got the last one because the video was there when I ordered it, and gone 3 days later when it was delivered. Anyway, thanks for the helpful video.
I'm very glad you did a video on this product. I'm always wondering if WRMK test team says "well is good enough, let's go to market"😆 I'm not in the market for another stamp platform but these things really bother me - the give is going to cause issues with a clear 1st impression, I saw the problem with the curves and the long thin press lol and it's obvious they didn't put much thought into the pattern stamps bcuz they don't have a proper repeating pattern. I saw on the hearts stamp, the last row is the same as the first. So it duplicates on the next impression. I wonder if the rest of the stamps are like that. Oh man I felt for ya when you were using the sentiment stamps and trying to get that flawless impression thru multiple impressions (I was having flashbacks too 😆 ). It was such a great idea. Thank you so much for the review Vianney 🤩
Yes I had to get a bigger stamping platform due to the Cc sentiment stamp. I got the crafts Too Press to impress platform. It is hinged and works well for me. It’s amazing you buy one thing and you get sucked into the rabbit hole because you need something else to make it work. 😳😂
I had no problem with that stamp from Crafters Companion….. love the die to cut them and I used the misti … no problems .. actually cut a bunch with different color ink ❤️😊
These are good for scrapbooking pages. I have a 12 inch Misti and it works well for that. Thanks for sharing. Oh, maybe the strips are supposed to be used where the side indentations are???
You can use that strip thing either way, it fits one way or the other...but still won't be full 12x12. Next time I'll go the other direction, avoid the cut outs!!! LOL! TYSM!
I have the regular one and the 12 inch, was thinking about maybe putting shrink wrap tubes around the pegs on the base to tighten them up when aligning on the platform, but I usually just use the stamping plate on its own, for both the p.p. advances I have, actually. For me, it's easier to just look down at my paper and align the stamp visually when I need to stamp multiple times. But the platform would be crucial if I was using red rubber stamps so what do you think now, 10 months in? Is the wobble still an issue? Would it work better if the pegs were a little tighter a la shrink tubing? Or is pushing the platform up and to the right against the pegs before pressing down good enough?
@@VianneyCreates it just came out at creativation. They don’t have it for sale yet. It’s the only reason I’m holding off on the big we r press. I want to see what alt e new’s is like first! I have the regular size we r press and I prefer it over the misti.
For me, it would be a pass. I’ll keep using my Tim Holtz platform, it works great. I really appreciate your HONEST review of the products. You’re the best! TYFS!
