Thank you so much Jen I really really enjoyed watching you create these amazing and cute thing’s with the punch board. I’d really really love ❤️ to see Miss Sadie. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much Jen, I really really enjoyed watching you show us all the frame maker, I have this machine, but I really really haven’t used it properly so this is really really helpful and useful too. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Love the tool too. I enjoyed your video and listening to you. You are so down to earth. Love your project and the way you demoed the tool. I have one already but wanted to see you demo it. I'm glad I did.
Thanks Jen ♥ I really love seeing things in action before I worry about purchasing them. I have to tell you that shaker card is killing me!!! I adore it :D
this is a totally wonderful video -- I am going to Michaels right now! I had it in my cart but decided to look at some videos first. I am making my Lions Int'l Club scrapbook and this will make not only my photo framing easier, but with your demos, I can add some unique items. I love the 'window' idea. I could put different types charity 'ephemeral' in the window to add to the impact. Awesome job, woman -- thank you, Dawn
This is the first shaker card I have liked. I love your style. I watch all your videos and have learned so much from you. Sorry about your burned hand. But you are such a professional keeping going even with a boo boo. Bless you and yours, Clara
I saw this punch at Michael's but thought it would be easier to use my paper trimmer. Now that I have viewed you demonstration I am going to give it a try.
Rebecca Schneider Aw, I’m glad this demonstration helped you make that decision. Have fun creating with your new tool! Check out my links if you need help ordering.
I can see where this would be great to create frames with different width sides [two narrow sides and two wider sides, etc] and possible to create a 6 in frame. Those two features is something you wouldn't get from nesting frame dies. At least I see it as another tool for the toolbox! Thanks for your fun video~keeping it real! :)
Thank you for your great video. I just bought this item after watching a couple of the video demos (including yours). I love it and I think that having to 'trim' a little is really no big deal when you can get awesome frames for pictures. I do a lot of matting with my pictures on scrapbook pages and I love that I can now do something different.
You prolly dont care at all but does any of you know a method to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the login password. I love any tips you can give me
@Armando Trenton I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Love all your videos Jen but I especially adore this shaker card. You have such a flare for putting patterns and colours together please do more shaker cards . Also love the clear pocket , you are soooooo creative would love to see more of these smaller projects. When are you going to do your craft room tour? Hope your hand heals soon I know how painful burns can be.
I believe it was MayMay Made It where she said to place your blade against the plastic guide and then insert the other side (the round guide) of the blade in the track for it. You can punch down into the paper/cardstock with the blade and get a smooth cut without the little shredded edges. Just line up the blade first and then place in track.
Oh Jennifer, I have a wonderful saying for you about if the edges aren't quite right or anything like that "A blind man would love to see it!" I use it at those times. I love the framer I will get it at some point, not sure if it is in England yet :) Love the card you made, you really do inspire me. Love ~ Lady Anne xx
Jen you can also make a foe paper book mark, when you clip the 3 sides I visualized it fast, maybe with multiple layer to make it sturdy and you can decorate the top. Call me crazy, Im on my own little world. Much Love, Thanks For Sharing!
Jen, I have the frame Punch Board and I also have to trim that little "off" edge when i slide across from the cut corners to make the frame opening. We will keep practicing and perhaps share if we find the trick to getting it right the first time. I love your shaker cards in this video!
I purchased this board at Tuesday morning yesterday for 9.99. Your tutorial has inspired me and want to make a shaker card like yours. Beautiful!! The black card stock you used...What weight? Thank you..
I have a few of the We R Memory Keepers tools and they all seem to have a slight "off" something and though I won't get this one (easier in my opinion to use a die to cut out the window - if you have a die cut machine) but some are ok. Thanks for the demo and loved to your ideas with the shaker and the window for a pocket...gonna have to put that in my next book. PatriciaD
The uneven cut is a result of going from a solid section to an open section. Notice it is always on the left side of the slider cut. Maybe if you push the left side a little closer than the right when making this cut it might help, but I don't think this is a flaw that can be helped. Great video thanks.
Thanks for a helpful video. Recently ordered this punch board. Loving your creativity. Have you by any chance figured out how to make frames bigger than 6inch? As I've seen lots of people mention upto 12inch and seen them produced in promo photos, but not found a tutorial or similar that shows you how..... 😂
Hope your hand is better soon! I saw this demonstrated in another video and the same thing happened with the edges not being straight. I think that is just normal for this tool, so using scissors to fix the edges is going to be common practice. It's still an awesome gadget and I can overlook that issue myself. Thanks for the video! :D
Thank you so much Pamela!! I agree, having to cut a tiny bit off verses doing all the measuring you have to do to make a frame just does not compare!! I really like the tool and think it will be fun to play with in my future projects!!
After the first three punches, the last punch needs to have the paper flipped upside down. All four punches going the same side up will cause an offset.
If you push the blade upwards, towards the top of the punch board, when you cut, you will get a better result. I tried it and it seems to really give me a cleaner cut.
i have seen videos using this tool and on the last corner cut they flip the paper over and cut on the back side, not sure if it will help with the unevenness of it or not just a thought
Just as I started to watch your your video you said the magic words Shaker card. Because that's what I want this little Gizmo for. I saw it in the store at Hobby Lobby and said okay I need to watch a video of it first to see if it's what I want so I just heard you say shake your car and I wanted to put this comment real quick now I'm going to go back to watching the video
How about the Tab Punch Board? I was wondering if that would be worth buying? Thanks for this video, I had been wondering about whether to buy it or not.
I cant be bothered with the foam tape so I use 3mm foamcore board and just cut it to fit. For really deep ones, there is 5mm black foamcore too. You can even get it adhesive on one side.
I just bought this and haven't taken it out of the package yet. Disappointing to hear the cutter leaves a little bit of an edge. I will still keep it. You can just use a metal ruler to trim, especially for pieces bigger then the 6"
I have been thinking of buying this and you've convinced me and I will use your link. I do have a question for you, can you show what you have your ink pad and tool on? That looks like a great idea! Thank you.
this is nothing i would use. i love tools as well. i just would rather have the old fashion photo tabs. this seems like an awful lot of work to get the cutting done. love your work and have followed you for a couple years now. take care of the hand so it doesn't scar.
first time on your channel i love what you make so easy on how you tell people hope your hand gets better i broke my elbow and arm and cracked couple of ribs i would like if people on here would cheer me up with some cards sharon macumbert 27 hood st fall river mass 02720
