Exactly MrsPockets, the biting helps and cheap padlocks in my opinion should be considered counterfeit, fraudulent security devices, be illegal to call a product High Security if it has not actually been independently tested and approved as a high security lock and given a security rating from a external tester like Sold secure. Also I consider these locks a scam lock that exploits ignorant people who want a good lock and are sold this under high security. I don't care if they use Top Security on their locks but High Security is a term people understand to mean a lock should be good and secure.

Moral of the story, if it says top security, looks cheap or is too cheap for a high security lock ..... don't but it. I expect a high security lock to be at least over 40$

Most likely but don't forget that sometimes the manufacturing companies there knock off the cheap locks to undercut the prices of their competition there and use even cheaper materials. This silly lock has rust behind the core because it is iron. Some of these locks lock on both sides I noticed via lock picking Lawyer. He opened a few and gutted them and sometimes they lock on only the front portion like mine. One of his actually had a working spinner. The Spinner on the one is fixed in place by a weak pin on the front which be drilled out in seconds
