She was glad to take that win. Afterwards she said she felt robbed. Look at her face at the end. She showed the world she doesn't care about fair...just winning. She will probably cry so much they will still leave her record 7-0.
Hughes clearly won but took it like a champ & congratulations to johnson & her trainers like a true deserving champ. Just disgraceful. Dude should seriously be fired.
@@brandonwomack7379 Lol I generally don't watch it just like I don't want the nba the nfl or mlb talk about corruption. but this is pathetic dude can't even get the winner right.
Never seen this BS happening in a boxing match. How the hell they announced the wrong winner. Heck even the crowd booed the local, you know you lost when your countrymen dont believe you won the fight
A lot of people are talking about how good Johnson is and got beat up by a 41 year's old grandma. I checked her boxing record and found out that every single fight has been in Australia and only 1 in the UK. All she fought was class c boxers, so I wonder when she is going to cross the ocean to fight class B and A fighters.
yeah it seems that the prettiest boxers are given easy fights and become champions very quickly. its a shame really. but its just like mens boxing where olympians are fast tracked once they turn pro and then given easy fights for a fewyears
Disgusting the way that was done, not even realise you made a mistake and explain, just started rereading out, poor nina looked confused. The others didn't seem surprised and whispering in to the other fighters ear. Fix. Nine was so robbed
Anyone could make a mistake but his attitude was disturbing. Rather than calling everyone in and acknowledging right there in the ring that he had made an embarrassing and colossal error he instead acted like his first announcement basically didn’t happen. His second announcement of the winner was too dramatic. At that point he no business trying to make it sound like his announcing is so dynamic. It’s not about him but he seems to think he’s part of the show.
The ref knows the winner and partially raise Johnson's hand. But when he heared the announcers proclamation to the winner he was confused and you can see the reaction of his face.
I thought Hughes won tbh, Johnson gave away far too many early rounds and although rallied late still think she fell short. Disgraceful from the officials f****** up the announcement.
Despite the error in reading a damn card the right fighter won the fight and it was Johnson who bullied Nina through the whole fight no robbery clear cut victory
You can't win a fight when you're walking into punches all the time and barely landing anything yourself. I had it 8/2 for Nina. It was a clear win and a robbery. Maybe learn how to score a fight properly.
Johnson didn't come close to winning though. Nina landed like 6 to 7 times the punches Johnson did in every round. When Johnson did decide to throw, she missed most of them.
This reminds me of when Steve Harvey announced the wrong Miss Universe winner. It should have been Miss Philippines but Harvey announced the wrong name. For some reason, Harvey was allowed to keep his job the next year. I don't understand how a professional announcer could get this so wrong. I actually think the announcer has a horrible voice for a professional announcer and wondered why he was even doing this job. But NOW, after THIS mishap, I doubly wonder. This is just my view, politely stated. But I guess mistakes happen, so maybe we shouldn't be so hard on the guy? Maybe the penmanship in the paperwork he was handed was confusing to read?
so funny AF! imagine losing the fight and then getting announced you won.... LMFAO! sorry.... you're NOT Haney lol! you not gonna get a GIFTED decision
George kambosa jnr got giving a win against maxi hughes. Two hughes robbed in two fights by Australians Also Just realised edie Hearn 🐍 dropped Nina in January and then Having parted ways with Matchroom, Hughes signed up with International Boxing Hall of Fame promotor the corrupted promotor Lou DiBella in January 2024. Hughes suffered her first loss in a robbery and shambles of a ring Announcer. Looked like the whole show was ordered from wish,
Lou Dibella was involved with the Maxi Hughes decision as well as this one. He even had the audacity to call them both close fights. Maxi and Nina clearly won the fights. They weren't even remotely close.
@@seablock boxing is shocking now days wouldn’t surprise if Hearn and dibella had a deal with Nina hughes. The fighters need protecting from corrupted management officials and promoters. It’s ripe the sport is riddle with corruption, every other sport gets investigated if corruption is involved apart from boxing. Things need to change. I used to love boxing not no more.
@@trojanboxing9873 Nina and Eddie haven't been together for over a year now. He isn't involved here. This is on Dibella and Arum. It was a TopRank card. They're the worst in the business. Then GoldenBoy. Then PBC. But yeah, there does need to be an investigation into it in the US. But they won't do it as it benefits them too much. If it was them getting jibbed away from home all the time, then they'd want to do something.
@@seablock 3 robbery’s I believe top rank was involed with not sure about maxi hughes but still in Australia. Manny Pacquiao vs. Jeff Horn Maxi hughes v George kambosa jnr Nina hughes v Chennika Johnson I’m sure there’s many more.
U crazy, she got marched down the whole,e fight basically. U must wanna be a boxing judge if u saw it that way. I hope she is ur sister or something with an asinine take like that. Did u even watch the fight?
@SkinnyVinnie I 100% seen that fight and Huges won. She threw more, landed more and was the aggressor the majority of the fight. Johson won 3 rounds clearly, but barely throwing anything. You must be a Salty Aussie because they were all trash on that card.
@runelillebuen6422 Compubox might say that, but the eyes say different. All those Aussies took Ls, so they needed to have at least someone be a winner. Johnson did not throw more punches, nor landed more.
What a joke. This was the Steve Harvey in the Miss Universe equivalent. And the winner is..... This was almost as bad as listening to Tessa tore and Bradley without a third person who knows what they are talking about and not just focus on the fighters "story".
This kind of clown shit keeps happening and it never did before. I've seen rounds only last two minutes (for male fighters), rounds last four minutes, bells get rung at the ten second warning, that bs non-existent headbutt in the Moloney vs Franco match a few years ago, and of course all the garbage decisions that seem to happen at least once per card. It's embarrassing and it makes the sport look even worse. The announcer needs to be canned immediately and permanently.
They do what they're paid to do. The winner has already been decided beforehand. That's two British fighters named Hughes involved with Lou Dibella that clearly won their fights only to get stiffed.
