St. Francis College alumnus Robert Rahn '76 and his partner, Kim Anklin, came to St. Francis College October 28, 2014 to discuss how their private investigation helped free a wrongfully imprisoned man, Jonathan Fleming.
Fleming served more than 20 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit and now tells his story.
Rahn and Anklin discussed how they investigated the Fleming case and, more generally, about their careers in private investigations.

How does a prosecutor live with the knowledge of how wrong this conviction was? How could investigators allow the law to go ahead with this prosecution? Are the cops so weak or so weak minded that they could not stand up and say "this is wrong"? It frightens me if these are the people we are supposed to look to for justice.

God bless the people who helped him, God bless him, and shame on those prosecutors and whoever got the receipt from him and didn’t speak up about its existence. There is a special place in h31l for each one of us.
