As i kept my bugeye wagon when i got rid of my 9. Its still wrx drivetrain, every bolt on, 250whp and just needs to maintenance to get shipped off with me. and knock offs sure but dont hate on real ce28's ;)
Hawkeye wrx wagon owner here. This level of detail to this build and love of the wagon just warms my heart to max. I just love the idea that to some it appears like a momma wagon grocery getter but it is still decently quick. With the seats folded down I've moved so much crap. So practical.
I love my bugeye wagon. It's got 233k miles on it and we're still trucking! I put sound deadening in mine 2 years ago and it was one of the best things I ever did to it lol.
What a gem. It looks great and it seems very fun to drive too. I tried to find a good non-rusted one back in the day but I had no luck at the time. Too late now. Same thing for the turbo-II fc. Cold start, fly by and POV video please :P
My 02 bugeye has 350k+ on the chassis as well. Full JDM swap, 05 sti drivetrain, work meisters, and good suspension. its quiet, smooth and a ton of fun. I also have a car seat in it and my 5 year old absolutely loves it and always asks to go places in it.
A man of culture. Even though I swore off Subarus over a decade ago, Bugeye wagons will always have a special place in my heart. Also reminder to get your sportcross done. I know Carter's been giving you a hard time about it, I'm going to start too
Im glad I could help! They are really suuuuch good cars. They have their challenges but so does everything. As for a drivers car, they are in the top top
Love this thing! I used to have an 03 sedan, i miss it sometimes. I had those side grill inserts. Mine came in the box as OE JDM Subaru Sti...Also, RG's are my all time favorite wheels! Your videos are getting better all the time!
This is awesome, what a small world. Here from Jimmy's channel, I see this car on 395 pretty often, not sure if you remember me but I drive the black bug sedan on white wheels. This has to be the cleanest bugeye in northeast CT.
Wagons Unite!!! 233K on my wagon. One request....you didnt give us a sound clip. Would love to have heard your exhaust with your set up. Running an HKS myself and love it.
Nice bugeye wagon. I own a JDM bugeye STi myself. Point of correction: The Spec C interiors were all black, seats and door cards. The regular STi's were blue. While your front seats are in excellent condition, they are from the vanilla GDB (version 8 or 9 to be specific).
19:15 "STI FHI Fuji Heavy Industries LTD. Aerospace Division" wtf, was this originally meant to fly? Subaru is wild man. Im jealous of your wagon to be fair though, looks like a gem!
Love the work here! Have a 02 sedan myself. Is swapping in the STI steering wheel to a 02 WRX as easy as swapping the airbag charge? Pretty limited information I can find online. Hoping to do the swap as well but would love some insight.
as sick as they look with the roof rack deletes, only thing stopping me is that i need them to strap snowboards onto 😅😅 ive got the sedan from end already but want to get my hands on a wrecked sedan to do the rear cuts
Nah, it doesnt have the holes in the too flanges facing the hood like v5/6. After spending a moment looking its a 02-03 standard wrx tmic, silicone Y instead of cast Y so its just standard haha, it works well enough to take the kids for icecream
Td04 original turbo, about 20psi and I tuned it opensource with speed density. It certainly runs out of steam up top but for the immediate spool and grunt to pal around town with the kids its perfect 👌 ive got plenty of other cars with too much horsepower
@@TailoredChassisSolutions rotated definitely the way to go, for a bigger set up. Which makes more sense for a 2.5 ej build. 16g is just a little bigger than stock & still spools well. I have a bugeye wagon 2.0 myself, with that turbo, blouch. Its a fun car!
If you have a GD body its the felt lined stabilizer brackets adjustment front and rear or the felt is worn off part numbers 62304FA001 and 62304FC000 as well as outer stabilizer guides 61256AE010
