In high school, WT seemed to be at an unattainable playing level. Now, as a professional musician, I can do absolutely everything that WT does....except for 1:30. This is still a mystery to me. LOL
Wooooo Weeeee!!!!! By far in my opinion this is this best showmanship performance that I would say in WT history. Although I haven't seen all the performances over the years up to date. I will say as a fan of JSU band, i believe this Wt drum section can rival those great ones of the pass and has surpass a great deal many.
@@damiengreen1900 Southern stole from WT as well. If you listen to their "Jack" cadence it is a spinoff of WT's Jungle beat. I thought WT stole it but someone told me that Southern heard Jackson State marching into it and made a cadence afterwards. Marching bands steal double timing from FAMU. From what I've been taught, Grambling was the originator of the Funk Train. Even other drumlines acknowledged this. We're kidding ourselves if we think that NOBODY is influenced by each other in the slightest.
Cute dance steps. Wonder if they know how to play their instrument or does that not matter? Gimme Norfolk State, Bethune, NC A&T, etc. if you wanna see some real drumming.
