It was a bit of a harsh coaching call but do you really think if she was called on that when she was winning a match she would have reacted the same way? Serena pre maternity knew she had to go out and execute, post maternity Serena almost looked as though she couldn’t believe she wasn’t winning all those slam finals she lost. And I get it because she’s a kick ass player (imo the best ever) and I think she deserved the most grand slams, but her head got so big towards the end of her career.

@@henrym6758 Of course it was mingled with the tension of the match, but I think it was also just a culmination of all the things she has endured during her career and especially at the UO. And she did have some valid points about male players being treated differently. To me, Carlos misjudged the situation and it felt as if he wanted to show that he could do that against Serena. Unfortunately, she took the bait, and I feel you're right when she didn't seem to be in control of her emotions after becoming a mother.
