This is possibly the most fascinating product I've ever seen, yet at the same time possibly the greatest scam of a product I've ever seen. Will we ever know which is which? Nope, and that's why it's so great.
I would love to see you open the newly released historic autographs the mob series 2, as one of the rare relics you can chase in it are pieces of Al Capones tablecloth. I think they are around $75 a box
As a History teacher, I dont count these cards out. They are very useful as a teaching tool for my students. The future sets will have a picture of a document it was taken from in the back of the card. The "hits" are the handwritten samples. Also, if you open some more in the future, i just subscribed!
As a History Major, I can conclude that that relic of J. P. Morgan is most likely a check or a letter, since he was the founder of the Bank that we know today as Chase!
Usually the relics are a piece of paper from a document the person signed likely in the case of JP Morgan (they'll use the actual auto for 1/1's etc but use the unsigned parts of that same document on cards like these) but then the prince harry one would likely be a wedding invitation or something lol.
What a fun awesome video. Your videos are always a good time for the set it looks awesome and so much fun. The wife and I just picked up the Bob Ross Trading Card season 1 and we actually got a numbered one out of one #1/1 card out of it on my shorts videos. We really enjoy unique sets like these keep up the cool work👍
It feels like the manufacturer did the least amount of work as possible and put something together with the highest price they could get out of us consumers. I think this product has a LOT of potential if they would simply put descriptions on the backs of the cards!
This is no worse than Panini's "Fabrics" where on the back it says not from any game used or worn game. Basically they just cut up a jersey they probably ordered from Fanatics...
Not sure if this product has this or not but one of the companies that has historical relics have a website and you can see how the relic ties into the historical figure but again not sure if this product is like that or not. Awesome rip I really wanted to get this product myself but didn't.
You might have to take that Jefferson and Washington card to Pawn Stars to find out if that letter piece actually contains a sample of Washington’s handwriting 😆
Haha classic, pretty awesome product. These way different products are amazing though, I wish it was done by Leaf or someone. Also, for full degen retail...Target has 70% off this past year's Basketball Prizm Monopoly games. They were originally 39.99 now 11.99. Two packs with almost guaranteed parallels and the base pack. I pulled s Steph Curry GO card and a Lebron James Monopoly Parallel from one box. Gonna go back and get more, they are clearing the stores for this coming year's monopoly.
Interesting Rip. TY. Also, not sure if you're familiar with their channel, but @thedarkhorsesportscards gave a shout out to you in their recent video, giving you props on how you rip open packs.
Aw man, these were kind of a let down. Or maybe I was just expecting too much. Essentially "not from any specific game or event." - Sacagawea, where is the nearest walmart?
The fact there is no description of what exactly is being represented as a relic is a huge turn off. Just say scrap of newspaper discussing Crazy Horse circa 1860. Anyone can put scrap paper in a card and say "newspaper or letter relic". LAME. Cards are designed nice though.
Defacing historical artifacts for trading cards lol they need to step up the relics. Newspaper clippings aren't worth it. They should at least have written stuff with better stuff like bullet fragments.
