Instagram: IDigIt4 Back out on day 2 at the cornfield projects, clearing and mulching some overgrown areas with the MTL XCT and the John Deere 329E skid steer. Let's get to it! #MTL #XCT #BrushCutter
I love clearing land. I watch the guys do yards and fields . I like gardening so playing in the dirt is just relaxing. I see the dirt turn and I can just smell the freshness. And fresh mowed grass smells so clean. And I have allergies LOL😁😁😂
8:24-25 is a giant copperhead races out to the left of the screen. Did you see it? Have you ever seen a snake get shot out of your chopper? Or one slither up on top of the chopper or any part of your machine? Great work. Thanks for sharing.
That machine looks like it hs a mind of it's own, but they say the machine is only as smart as it's driver and that is YOU!! Good job,fun to watch and the dancing around those little pines was amazing!!!
Been watching you for I’d say a year now thoroughly thoroughly have enjoyed your content this is the first response I’ve ever given to your channel keep up the good work God bless and enjoy the game go Colts LOL
You did a fine job clearing that property. I think the client should have been more straight forward with you about what laid in that brush! God bless!
Laughing at 8:27 into the video at the snake on the left side of the skid steer getting out of the way...bet that was a rough awaking for his slithery self.
Great Job!! and no hornets this time! 👍👍 your Kubota was on the sidelines for maintenance but I've noticed that you're using it more frequently for the heavier jobs instead of your skidsteer. And have you considered possibly investing in say, like a Fecon drum style mulcher? I've seen that they are amazing on dead underbrush like what you had to deal with there. Football's back!! 🏉
I'm from east Texas, and I absolutely hate the pine trees. They were the first thing that blew down in hurricanes, plus the needle mess. But, to each his own...lol
Weld up a steel box that you can ratchet strap to a tree for a shot to avoid needing a tripod in most forested areas. To mount the camera ether use a sheet of scratch resistant plastic to protect the camera or mount the camera looking down at a cheap mirror so the camera is not in the direct line of fire from the thrown items. Why put something in the line of fire in a place with lots of natural posts you can strap things to? Not saying the tripod is not needed for getting shots from areas without trees, telephone poles or fence posts but it would reduce how often you put them in the line of fire to when they are the only option. As for where to get the mirrors. lots of places you can find them in the trash so just need a glass cutter and a strait edge to quickly turn it into the right sized replacement mirrors for the camera box so can bring a few if packed right in the camera gear.
I have been pricing brush cutters that are almost alike with the exception being that the MTL (like yours) has mulching teeth and the mulching teeth add about a $1,000 to the cost. Are they a "must have" and worth the extra money? Great Videos - thank you.
do you drive it in the lowest gear that you have or do you go higher? does it do a better job going slower or a little faster than the lowest gear? is there anything special you have to know to operate one of the things (I operated a TD-20 for a year in Vietnam, I learned the hard way they put me on, and said go)? Do the ever rake the area that you go over? Thanks for an outstanding video. I enjoy watching you destroy the bushes and trees. How does it work in vines and kudza? (Mississippi Gulf Coast, USA).
This machine could use a huge flywheel/centrifuge which would eliminate all the backing up while the machine gets up to revs. The weight might offset the advantage though.
With this sophisticated cutting machine, it is possible in the future to be able to use grass powder and shrubs from the results of machine cutting to become fertilizer and briquettes.
Hopefully you adjusted your price after having to mulch all of that debris that had been cut and was laying under the brush. Have you considered a rotary cutter with teeth versus a blade?
Good job! I’m sure you’ve seen some big ass SNAKES while doing this! I was waiting on one to scoot out & make you hit Reverse😂 Those & underground Yellow Jacket nests here in the South can turn a Fat boy into Jesse Owens😜
Since the mower throws stuff to the right why not throw it to where you haven't mowed big chunks will get chopped again less chance of damage to something unexpected
