I still remember Hayden's win in Argentina. Still the most exciting I've ever witness. I thought he was going to loose because he was against the allmighty Ogier-VW combination, but that drive was superb. And those were the days when only 3 drivers were capable of winning a rally (Ogier, Latvala and berely Neuville) so seeing Hayden win was very special at the time. Great video as always, keep it up !
Come on dude if you would have to put money on anyone you would choose at least two of them latvala and ogier, but you are not wrong either meek was great too .....but ogier haven't win the argentina
Hope we see him in WRC again. Hopefully he also got over the death of the spectator in 2017. It wasn't Hayden's fault, but im guessing it must have traumatized him.
Hi powerstage I love your videos and I have a few ideas that I would like to see and maybe some other people. I have 5 ideas is you can see which one you like. 1. A driver lineup for 2022 in the WRC 2. VW Diesel-gate 3. Why tf Citroen threw there toys out of the pram and left in 2019 4. Wtf is happening to Ott Tanak 5. Your dream team (drivers, chassis, engine, mechanic crew, chief engineer, team principal, and stuff like that. I really like your vids and I think you can bring in a lot of views because I’ve searched for these videos and there’s been nothing so I hope you incorporate some. Thanks
Tbh When Hayden got sacked after almost winning Rally Australia, that was a shock at the time. In 2019 I thought that both Sordo and Paddon were extremly underrated. I cant tell with Paddon, because he s been out for 2 years, but Sordo proved every year that he can fight for every single podium/win as long as his car works.
Mikkellsen had existing contract with Hyundai, therefore he was chosen over Paddon. It took a man with a spine like Adamo to brake that contract. After Paddon went mental on social media after getting the news, it was obvious he won’t be hired again by any team. Hopefully i am wrong and he gets his chance again, he had the speed and talent.
read his book if you get a chance . then you will understand the pressure he was under in front of the cameras and behind them where nobody could see , then you will understand why
@@wrcrocks Everybody is under pressure. Was he mistreated by the team, very likely, but that is not the excuse on this level. You just don’t do that. But Thanks for the tip, just finished Latvala book, will take Paddon next.
2022 Update: Hayden has won: Rally New Zealand Championship Tours European Rally Chamionship leading Asia Pacific Rally Cup with 1 round to go (Coffs Harbour, Australia) Won WRC2 in New Zealand, took a podium in WRC2 Finland (retired from WRC2 Estonia because he got covid) And is currently on the short list for a WRC seat with Hyundai next year, or at least a WRC2 program and a part time WRC campaign So yes, Hayden is still fast, and people need to look out for him in '23. I predict a triumphant comeback into WRC.
