I still remember hearing stories in my town about how so many people apparently walked right out of the theater during this part, before it even started. Williams Street knew what they were doing with this. They wanted to get all those boomers and Karens who brought their 4 year olds to watch the "funny cartoon movie" out of the theater at the very start.

"If you do not understand, then you should not be here!" That's the perfect encapsulation of this movie. This was a movie made strictly for the fans, and I appreciate that. I went to an afternoon matinee of this flick the day of the premiere. About 2 dozen hardcore fans showed up, and we had a ball.

this was the most fun i'd ever had in a movie theater. i was busting up the whole time. and then i laughed harder because people were getting up and leaving. perfect

My favorite part about this song is how he genuinely feels shocked you brought your baby.

This needs to be shown right before every movie in every theatre.

My entire theater was applauding and hollering from the moment the heavy metal kicked in. It was glorious, and while the rest of the movie was enjoyable, this was definitely the big talking point that stuck with people for years to come.

If I ever get to own a theater, I'm showing this before all my R rated features...

Because I knew what the teacher was like I just responded with Don't talk watch. The next film he played for us, he opened up with this going full blast. Greatest moment ever

This movie marks the end of the golden age of Cartoon Network with the bomb scare and Jim Samples resigning. I think this song perfectly represents that.

And I legit thought this was just a retro-style movie ad until he said "you can beat my meat for a special treat" And from that point til the end of the movie I was laughing my ass off hysterically. For the longest time I thought this never went to theaters. I thought the "Movie film for theaters" title was just a joke and it was direct to DVD. Only learned I was wrong recently. Man, seeing this in a theatre would have been awesome.

I always found it funny that the bass player plays the guitar solo

adult swim announced 3 movies (aqua teen, venture bros, and metalocalypse) and im just praying we get unique intros as entertaining as this one from each one.

This movie was 100% comedy gold. Every second from the beginning to the credits was a joke and none of them fell flat.

The lead singer of Mastodon kind of sounds like Vegeta. I would totally pay him to say "this is the end for you... final flash!"

To be fair, this is the most sense Aqua Teen has ever been and they just said out loud what we want to say….

Way back in college i took this schedule padding class. It was like literature and cinema analysis or some shit like that. There were some really cool discussions, the professor was a really cool cat. Anyway one day we had a discussion on best introductions to great movies. The prof got alot of basic answers about classic movies. I piped up that the ATHF movie had a fantastic intro. Having never heard of it he pulled it up on the projector screen and I'm pretty sure this exact YT clip. The utter difference in reactions throughout the room was hilarious. The only other dude who recognized it is still one of my best friends. We started hanging out after that class period and still laugh about it to this day. And the Prof ended up binging ATHF for weeks afterwards and he would frequently bring up ATHF when we would discuss topics in the class. It sucks getting older but the classics still hit.

I can't believe this was in theaters. It was the best movie experience I'd ever had. Like other people mentioned, people would be walking out at various points. Clueless people each deciding at some point that this was a mistake, while people that actually knew what to expect were dying of laughter. It was surreal.

OH MA GAD. When I was about 7 my brother, who was a year older than me, bought this movie on DVD we thought it'd be a funny kid animated movie. We were both forever scarred that day. I can never watch this again.

I saw this when it was in theaters with my best friend. We were the only ones in the whole theater so it was basically like a private screening. It was one of the best ways to see this movie and one experience I'll never forget. We laughed out loud, changed seats, just having the time of our life!

When this came out my dad had never watched aqua teen & his friend brought it over & to this day he talks about the dot head butting the hotdog.

Watching aqua teen made me realize just how many references dragon ball and yugioh abridged used from them.

To this day, my brother and I will occasionally quote this out of the blue. It's funny when we discover how many people know exactly what we're talking about.

This should literally be in every movie theater forever.

I really like the movie-fied Willaims Street logo. It's like one of the few parts of the movie that's actually taken somewhat seriously.

This intro needs to be played at the beginning of every single movie moving forward in every single movie theater. I would personally go to the movies just to see this and laugh and then leave right afterwards well everybody is in shock still
