Conclusion from this vid: japanese television benefits off human pain. Also, when I get to japan, I will turn on the tv immediately. It is too good to miss.
While most Americans would crack open a can beer and watch a game to unwind after a hard day’s work. In Japan they probably crack open a can of beer and laugh their asses off to these insane television shows.
I wonder how often stuff like this happens to the average japanese? Is there a government department of silly pranks? "Welcome to the department of Horrible Pranks and Degradation, how may i be of assistance?"
@@YouOnlyIiveTwice lol no, I actually have never seen that. All of the public bathrooms i went to were normal ones, except better because they all had bidets 😂
For real, that guy most likely has some degree of emotional damage The elevator drop could seriously injure you if you don't "fall right" Do we even need to talk about launching people on a sled with 0 safety measures?
Is it just me or do a lot of these "pranks" seem like they could cause serious bodily harm? Like is there just hours of unused footage somewhere of people getting horrible mangled that the editors pass on?
The elevator one was just a reach, all of them were but the elevator one was topping it all, they have a weird sense of humour. It gave me ellen show's vibe where the audience are tortured in the name of a game.
I have a great sense of humor, but... I ended up watching a Japanese prank video yesterday, and it irritated me because they took things too far. Sad to say, this one is much worse. It's great to laugh, but there are limits to everything, especially when it comes to respect or HEALTH AND SAFETY.
The sadism of some of these pranks. The mindset that led the Japanese army to commit endless atrocities in WWII found another outlet. Disturbing, albeit somewhat less harmful. The fact people are raucously laughing at someone's genuine panic and fear, at someone's genuine humiliation, at someone's sorrow and terror, it's despicable. Not funny. Some of these people in these pranks would have been scarred for life.
also the prank one with the ghost kids is pretty cool. i love the fact that all of the kids are having fun. japanese tv sounds amazing the more that i think about it
I imagine they sign waivers to accept that such acts will be performed on them in exchange for prizes/money...... otherwise no sane person would carry through with letting them do that just for lols.
Personally i think something is amiss when cameras are introduced into toilet cubicles! And then to attempt to traumatise people going about their ablutions is real low IQ humour. Not forgetting that if you don't laugh along it's you who has the problem as the audience fake laughs itself silly, WTF??
