I had the same issues with Aatrox too! Whenever i nearly killed an enemy, he could just walk or flash away and i wasted my time trying to keep up. So i was going for "predator" at the dominance path and it solved that annoying problem for me.

Lock in Illaoi into the ideal scenario (4+ melee champs). Survive lane camp. Enemy laner runs a troll build. Enemy team plays into you as poorly as possible. Lose anyway.

This is cool since just yesterday I was testing with Magic penetration/ Armor Penetration and other things like that and tried out aatrox with lethality. I ofc lost alot with it but it was really good and Im just guessing thats because I suck at the game and my enemies were like 11/0 by the time I left my lane to fight them. Last time I tested this I just went Serylda's Grudge and then went full tank since the item has 30% penetration and should be enough for damage. The most painful thing about full lethality build is being really squishy so if any of them cc you, ur basically dead.
