+Joshua Gray If you need to make up for the lost time, you give the time to matches, not a promo. People came to see wrestling, not listen to people talk.
Chicago has always been a crazy crowd. Anything from cheering for the heels, to screaming odd things. The building has the acoustics that makes sound deafening. You can't hear people standing next to you if Cena comes out.
Did anyone else notice that they showed Y2J delivering the walls to cm punk at their wrestlemania match in the pre-match promo?Cheeky WWE being cheeky...That was the best WTF moment of the night.
Super good to see that picture of Enzo at the end, he doesn't look too damaged, a concussion is no laughing matter but still this picture feels good. The injury totally ruined my mood for the whole ppv
The reason cass showed up in a suit to the hospital is because vince requires all superstars to wear suits when they are arriving to or leaving the arena.
+Human “Mr” Smith He probably whent straight there KO may have had time to change. But they all still have to wear suits when leaving and going to events.
I think there was another sign you missed. It's seen during the main event, but it was super funny and I can't believe I forgot it. Believe it had something to do with Bullet Club or something.
A lot of people complain about the finish to the main event but I was okay with it even though I hate Roman. Styles delivered a lot to Reigns but also people forget that AJ technically beat Roman twice before that, AJ got punched in the dick after jumping off the top rope, multiple superman punches, and the dominance Roman had the beginning, it wasn't just a spear that took him out and they both came out of the main event looking strong, people just like to find reasons to bitch about Roman.
I think one of my favorite WTF moments from Payback was when Cole said that Reigns was "the standard-bearer of WWE," it was so funny cause it was such a stupid thing to say and to me implied that WWE has a very low standard that they like to present.
How on earth did you miss the utterly massive SAWFT sign behind reigns when he climbed up on the ropes during his entrance? It completely filled the background. I need to go find it for my desktop wallpaper.
What was the crowd chanting at Stephanie during the McMahon promo that Shane said "It never gets old." I don't remember her reaction to it--something like "Yes I do, okay?"
Those ring ropes last night seemed to be really really tight. Surprised that they weren't loosened up a bit. There were more then two moments that those ropes could have caused injury.
Well technically, you're wrong. 'That's the way to get more eyes on him' - by putting Corbin to the Kickoff show, in theory, more people will watch his match.
Woohoo I made the WTF moments! Okay it was only because I was in the giant Cesaro section. BUT DAMNIT I MADE IT! The guy who passed out the signs also brought his own "Push John Cena" sign. I was hoping that would've made the list too :(
Has anyone else noticed in that interview Kenny did with Kevin Owens, They were Talking about his persona and KO went on to talk about there being shades of Grey and went on to say: I'm not a bad guy, I'm not a good guy, I'm just the Guy. Then after Wrestlmania, Roman said the same phrase and I was shocked that he just copied KO's gimmick. Re watch the interview if you don't believe me lol
In-joke, smarky heel r yback is actually a quite a brilliant way to refresh his character. Its true to Rybacks actual beliefs, gets good legit heat on him, and allows him to play a anti-IWC monster heel. I hope it continues. It seems ryback can kinda wrestle actually, he sold Kalisto super well, had an amazing military press spot, made all of Kalisto's moves look generally strong, and doing his best Kane/aerial bigman impression. Hopefully, they don't just turn him face or run him to the top of the card. Keep the Kalisto fued going, have Ryback put up a few PPV wins over him and get the belt back and hold it. Then stretch out the rivalry. This is a good rivalry, giant killer vs arrogant giant (but clever and tuned in). Have Ryback win some squash matches on free tv all the while to build the anti-smark monster gimmack, then at a bigger ppv later in the year have Kalisto go over ending the feud. Thoughts?
5:20 I still remember Bubba Ray Dudley saying "What The Fuck?!?!" on Raw in 2002 when running into Goldust (I think it was the Thomas Jefferson segment, if I remember correct)
+Kurtis Crossen Shockingly, contrary to what the IWC would have you believe, some people actually do like Reigns. Personally I'm not nuts about him, but at the same time, I'm not railing against him and acting as if he's nothing more than an overgrown monkey in swat team vest.
