Shout out to Jim Breur for taking care of his old man, what a beautiful thing to do.

His mom really gave him no choice because she was allegedly abusing his father. Social workers advised Jim that his father would not be safe in that house. He told the story on the O&A show as it was happening.

Breuer does 3 of the best impressions I've ever heard in this video. His Seinfeld (near the end) is probably the most accurate one out there

I love how Maron has that great interview, with such openess and great stories from Bruer and he concludes it with how it helps him with his SNL saga

I have a great story... I was a Civil War Reenactor coordinator for an episode of King of Queens and was dressed as a Confederate general. A fella walks into the tent where I was standing. He was dressed as Stonewall Jackson. He was walking back and forth, and I asked where he was from and congratulations for landing his role. We talk a little longer and then he goes to do his scene. The next one, I'm in the crowd scene, and Stonewall jumps on a stump where he begins his dialogue. He looks right at me and I finally see his eyes and recognize his voice. It was Jim Breuer. When I realized who I was he looked back across the crowd and sees me realize who he was. And i was never so embarrassed in my life.

23:23 The movie was « Didier » the story of a dog becoming human overnight (but still a dog psychologically) and becomes a big soccer star for PSG 😂 Marc Maron was thinking about Michel Gondry, but the director (and main actor) of this movie was Alain Chabat

The Cosby story is really interesting. Chris Rock also said that Cosby tried to lecture him about being more clean in his act. Isn't it ironic that the guy who was drugging and raping all these women behaved like he was the authority on morality? Maybe that's the point. He was guilty and was trying to make up for it.

The SNL writers seem to cause of most of the issues on that show with their jealousy of castmembers. The show hasn't been funny or relevant for over 20 years and yet somehow these writers seem to think they are more important than the people who have to perform their shitty sketches. It's amazing that the show prioritized some Harvard writer without a funny bone in his body over a performer who killed every night with a career that has long outlived his time on the show. Most of those writers would love to be on the show even though the majority of them are talentless and unfunny.

WTF is this channel? Is Maron associated with this? Are you just reposting his material?
@MelBee128
@MelBee128 8 месяцев назад
If Maron wanted it taken down, he would see that it was taken down. FYI. He offers these episodes for free on his website. He can do that because he live reads the ads in each episode. Reposting this actually helps him make more money because more people are hearing the ads.

Just kept interrupting and wouldn't let him finish a sentence. Jim was saying something interesting like 10 times, only to be diverted each time. We'll never get those stories now.
@anthonywandowicz8084

Lauren still hasn't figured it out and it's been 50 years. Comedians are funny and actors are not funny. The 90s was a decade of comedians. Never happened again and it's been 2 decades of shit.
