WTH Is An Original, Open, Regulated, & Closed Species?! 

The concept of funny money sounds a tiny bit like company scrip to me, which is obviously not great, but the idea of an old-timey miner breaking his back in the fursona mines just so he can add wings to his dragon dog tickles me lol

Wow there’s so much more to all these types than I ever realized! I have a species I’ve been working on for a while now that I would love to see others join in on but I have a lot of requirements for what counts as one, so I felt like I should make it closed. I didn’t know regulated species were a thing. I might be able to do something like that. Also I really like the battle pass idea. That sounds like a really cool way to form a community

I was trying to explain adoptables to my dad once and he asked "how are they different from NFTs" and I wasn't really sure how to answer that beyond "because it's not an investment", especially when I've heard of some people trying to sell off their adoptables when they didn't want them anymore. Any thoughts?

you should do a video about strudel cafe/midviel community !! i think it’s one of the most enjoyable species experiences i’ve had, with fun little games you can play contributing to your in game currency you can use to buy myos and so much other stuff! feels like a real GAME and not just a species like there’s collectibles n all kinds of stuff to do it’s really cool! i haven’t seen any content about it but i would love to see you cover it :D ur vids are so cool!

Just recently found your channel and dove in quite a few videos. I find this all very interesting. I'm in closed species ARPG (Art-role-play-game) communities since 2018 and before that I was part of several Open Species ARPGs on deviantArt. Now clearly when you are in a group like that, you do want to make your own group at a certain point, add rules you rather like from other groups, forge the perfect system and make an appealing species people would like to play with. I do have to say primarily I was mostly interested in that to make money. My main group I'm in is relatively profitable if you follow breeding trends but we also have our little funny drama here and there. Most people don't want to have this drama in their game but there is a pretty big problem in many groups with corruption and interference in the rng mechanics. I never really thought about these forms of species and they might even be more manageable as ARPG species/groups. The regulated species is actually very interesting as concept. If you are interested though a few videos on ARPG species and group dramas might be very interesting to research, becuase there is a lot.

Could you make a video explaining how to make a masterlist or how to handle closed/ regulated approval processes? I think it'd be interesting to know and useful for many :]

Makes me wonder where Griffia stuff would fall under. Used to _very much_ fall strictly under "Closed", but now seems to be in some weird spot between "Regulated" and "Closed" with the one free MYO (and Maze and Haze) that people can get. And people can get stuff that can be used to get more MYOs through "game systems" and mutations are just a thing that anyone can have and toggle. Maybe??? Griffia is weird.
