The first one is from around 1972, the 2nd one is from 1974 from Dolphin Productions which this is one of the first fully computer generated news ID's, the rest are from 1975 to 1978 until the switch to WDVM that year.

Anytime I hear "The One and Only", that reminds me of that Vocaloid song named "Candle Queen" by GHOST ft. Gumi, when she says "The one and only Candle Queen" :v

I'd like to know how these things were created.

@ChristianKidsShowFan Yes, some were, in particular, the clip beginning at 0:28 which, when complete, had a number of faces from the WTOP news team as well as a load of CBS TV characters (Hawkeye Pierce, Archie Bunker, Maude, Mary Richards [I think]) in the center of the '9'. I haven't seen it since dcbatwing vanished, and I've looked for it --does it exist anywhere?
