it's cool and see Leo in another game

Leo is looking sexier and sexier by every tournament.

Game looks really nice but I hope to see the camera movement smoothed out a little before release. Maybe a slight zoom out when characters are close would help as well.

Seeing MkLeo in the title gave me whiplash

Breezy and EE probably haven’t seen Maypul in Rivals 1 lol. Those wrap loops are not a new thing

i think between the new camera system and the new fx it can be a bit disorienting or hard to follow whats happening in moments when there are like those explosions on screen, but the game is looking smooth! i hope its as good as the first game.

I feel like this game might have a bit of a skill gap from the year of practice pros have to newer players so hopefully they can make casual queue balanced

Some of these effects in this game are WAY too intense. I can't tell what's going on at all sometimes.

As someone who plans to main ranno when rivals 2 comes out, Im glad to see Leo using him.

Yeah those plants are op. Stun locking and can basically drop them to act like a mine if the player has to move across the field

Maypul is so cool in this game

There are a lot of people saying the vfx are disorienting, and I felt it too in game one. Honestly though, it’s just the stupid plant I think. It looks like a background element most of the time, and then sometimes there’s just a giant Neon Explosion. The plant should probably be moved to the foreground for clarity, but honestly, it seems fine once you know what you’re looking for. The only other time I got lost was when Ranno shoulder tackled behind the archer. 4:19 It looks like some sort of bomb was on him? And got moved to her? While he crossed up and reverse hit. The bomb effect was too thick to see most of who was hit, and I was genuinely shocked when I saw her fall instead of Ranno. I guess the point is, there’s a learning curve to watching this game casually. Maybe the devs want to do something about that, maybe not. I didn’t feel this about Rivals 1, having only watched like 15 or so sets, so take that for what it is. (Obviously the series prides itself on it’s obtuse character specific status effects, I’m not asking for less of those. Just be aware that the game might be harder to get into (at this prerelease state lol))

I hope to see the UI & VFX get a bit more polish as, while it does look nice, it can feel lacking & unclear, leaving a lot to be desired. In particular, MayPul's VFX feel very obfuscating & the % reset after a death leaves a lot to be desired; personally I'd like the % break away & drop off the bottom of the screen when a player is killed; a slight delay added before 0% pops up again, timed with the player respawn; right now it feels way too fast & sort of lackluster.
