Wu-Tang: An American Saga "Dual Of The Iron Mic". Johnell Young as Gza, JaQwan J. Kelly as Masta Killa, Uyoata Udi as Inspectah Deck and Tj Atoms as Ol' Dirty Bastard.
i got bored during the criminology ep. dude playing Raekwon is amazing casting but the liquid swords one hit me on a deeper level. i prefer cuban linx over liquid swords on a listening level but the shit in the episode was emotional for me.
I always say Liquid Swords is my winter Wu album & OB4CL is the summer album. RZA production was so expressive.the drums & sounds used on Liquid r so cold & OB4CL the beats r looser & moving around
@@dominiquejones3805 that’s a great way to look at it. Cuban Linx was my favorite as a teenager but as I became an adult Liquid Swords and Wutang Forever became my two favorite Wu Albums
😏 When I knew they were doing a GZA "Liquid Swords" episode I was like 😌"Man they better play Duel of the Iron Mic, Gold, and 4th Chamber" in that episode. 😏 This episode was *DOPE!!!!* *GZA* *Ol' Dirty Bastard (R.I.P.)* *Masta Killa* *Inspectah Deck* 👐 *u*
I was disappointed it was another allegorical episode, but it ended up being my favorite of the season and the most wu tang with kung fu, all members, and the best solo wu album (top 2 no order). They actually had the actors rap that shit and the 4th chamber remake was so dope. Had me in the first half i'm not gonna lie
This was the best episode they had. The creativity with Gza album and how they brought it to life in movie version was crazy dope. Btw the album is top 5 ever...dual if the iron mic is easily one of the most underrated tracks in the history of sounds being added to words
Cut throats like running rivers I be that whiskey in ya liver. Deck and Killa were both cut short. Still … dope way to end the season. I was diggin how RZA adapted the last bit of it into an old school style kung fu flick. ASON and GZA’s actors look and sound like the gods. Casting directors deserve a pat on the back for that.
Good point, neither has "Wu-Tang Forever". 🤔 Everybody keeps talking about this being the last season but there's still more to discuss including U-God's Golden Arms Redemption album, RZA's Bobby Digital album, Deck's Uncontrolled Substance album, and ODB's (R.I.P.) passing.
This was the best episode to me this made my day if you was a fan during the time this album came you know gza had the best album start to finish not one skip on the album 5 mics automatically
Damn I didn't like this song back in the day, but the actors in this series made me revisit that song now ever time I think about playing a gza song this most of the time now.
The RZA used to wear them and gold vampire fronts back in the 90s. Meth and Ol' Dirty Bastard 🙏🏾🕊️ used to wear the gold fronts too. RZA wore the fronts and the fingers during his time with both the Wu-Tang Clan and Gravediggaz. David Lo Pan "Big Trouble In Little China" fingers type shit.
