I love the way Ghost imitates ODB at the end - didn't feel like he was mocking him more like he was acknowledging how Dirty caught the beat in a unique way
The actor deserves an Emmy* (sorry my op said "Oscar"😅) for his performance as ODB. He brings a lotta love back to who he was and remains to be remembered as
It seems a bit between gimmicky and working, but it's super hard to make it work with a character like he truly was. RZA actor truly on point if you look his mannerisms and way of talking.
@@taymoneyxbombeii1202 I feel you I am too. I don’t think he did. But one of my buddies helped me figure out the piano keys. I’m gonna try to recreate it for all the people who be lookin for it
I just watched the first season and this beat and freestyle stood out to me I played it like 10 times in a row ! I searched everything I could and cannot find that beat ... good to see it caught other people's attention also ! DOPE !!
“Ask who the illest and they say it’s Ason Dance for me baby girl they playing our song If anyone try doing me wrong They gon make me have to get up in they ass like a thong I keeps it dirty to the core, rhymes galore Everything raw sharp like a tiger’s claws I’m dropping bombs like I’m going to war With the 1-1-2-2-3-3-4!!!”
@Nevermind - from the series, he always has an excuse why he can't drop a verse or want to spit his verse. My seasons may be off but - in the first season, he just wanted to hit the street and put in work when their were in a music session. The second season, he didn't want to spit anything because he was self-conscious about working with the engineer/working in an official studio. He claims to want fresh air and quiet to work, get that, now it's too quiet and eerie. 😂
I'm still mad about all those RZA produced albums that we never got to hear. I especially wanted to hear the original Masta Killa and Inspectah Deck ones.
@@theanalogcirclepodcast.9416 the whole Clan probably woulda blew up more than they did and each member woulda been more individually known way earlier on.
Man he was spot on portraying ODB. Seriously I feel like this, the acting in it, was better than NWA. NWA was a damn good movie and I feel like all of those actors killed their roles, but this was spot on
I love the actor that is portraying odb. He brought odb back to life, I love itttttt😩❤️❤️❤️❤️ Edit: the things and antics odb do in the show I find so hilarious. I be like there he go again😂😂😂
So crazy how Ghost was the one that never wanted anything to do with rap and ended up being the one out of all the clan members to have the most solo studio albums
Wutang Clan, are the legends! I grow up with those music. Drawing graffity, and killer-beens-gangster shit on the Streets, tacking the walls with cool colours! But thank god, never killed myself, and today only legal shit. WU TANG CLAN FOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!🎧🎼🎼🎼🎶
Lyrics "Ask who the illest and i say Ason, dance for me baby girl they playing our song. Anyone trying to do me wrong, they gonna make me have to get up in their ass like a thong. I keeps it dirty to the core, rhymes gallore, everythings raw, sharp like a tigers claw. Im dropping bombs like im going to war, with the one one, two two, three three four"
ODB said "ask who the illest they say ayson dance for me baby girl they playin our song any one tryin do on me wrong they gonna make me have to get up in they ass like a thorn i keep it dirty to the core rhymes galore every thing raw sharp like a tigers claw I'm dropping bombs like I'm goin to war with the one one two two three three fouurrrr" I know some have a problem understating him rap
Gza (actor) has the smarts (ghost) actor has that street vibe (rza) actor has his vision but people was like they got ODB son playing him but for those who know this is Not his Son but An Actor Who Emboidied His Essence
lol, I have seen in this comment section that ODB's son is in the role, and I had to look that up to confirm that *isn't* his son in the role. Not sure where this misconception even started. I look up actors/directors of projects and would have found it odd if I missed that detail back when
