When WU hit it was like the Punk Rock movement of the 70's. Their shit was just so raw and stripped down. There was a ton of great RnB on the radio in 1993 and hip hop hits like "Hip Hop Hooray", "Slam" by Onyx, "Insane in the Brain" by Cypress hill. Hip Hop was in a great place but when WU hit it was like an atomic bomb. Everyone was like "OH SHIT!!!" It was a glorious time right in the middle of the Golden Age.

He sure the hell was. He kept dropping hits on every album. I never knew that he was dropping albums throughout the years. I recently stumbled upon GOLD. He has some good songs till this day. He was ahead of his time.

Inspectahs verse is one the most hard hitting, sharp rap verses ever. Sad to this day inspectah never got an album when RZA was in his prime of production. That album would have been a masterpiece.
