"The WU is the way, the TANG is the slang." This quote from the RZA solidified the meaning for naming a group of 10 NY MCs as the WU TANG CLAN. It had made sense to them since martial art culture was already a part of their childhood entertainment. Compare this concept to that of Griselda and their use of pro wrestling snippets. Having snippets of martial art films strategically placed within tracks served to purposely amplify the group's Message...... PEACE

Krunch cereal or corn Flakes with lots of sugar at bottom of bowl undissolved, We became the Kung Fu Masters. Breaking shit in the house of Our Parents & Grand parents. Getting Our asses beat by Kung Fu karate Chop Mom's, Aunties or GrandMa's. Blaming each other for who broke what. Daaamn I got tears of nostalgic laughter right now.

You could only find these for a while at comic cons and like Frank & Sons where dudes was bootleggin' and slanging posters and stuff. That last on is also on Ghostface 1st solo joint.

I went to Wizard con in Long Beach once and bought this Gordon Lui movie from a guy got home and it was the same as one of the others I already had but by a different name. Man you had bootleggers selling them at least, down here in Memphis folks weren't into the Wu like that, it was all word of mouth from like 3 dudes about which movies to check out and only one store that had any kind of decent kung fu library.

If you have either a multiregion Blu-ray or 4k UHD player, you can order them in English from England or any Shaw Brothers movie in Mandarin from either Hong Kong or Taiwan

This is great .. I've been down with the Wu since '93 when I was a kid and copped the "36 Chambers" cassette tape .. So cool to hear where all those voice clips / samples came from after all these years !! @ 5:10 Jackie Chan lol !!
