I miss the days of kung fu films using insect and animal styles. Imagine a modern version of classical kung fu films.

There are a lot of fighting arts films I find entertaining. Of these, however, only a small number of them stand out as amazing works of art in genre. 1) The Chinese Stuntman. 2) Dance of the Drunk Mantis 3) How Wong Fei Hong smashed the Five Tigers 4) 36th Chamber of Kung Fu. 5) Just Call Me Nobody 6) The Kung Fu Odd Couple 7) The Victim 8) Wuxia Obviously, I love each for a different reason. Most accurate view of the industry? #1. Most eclectic Kung Fu comedy? #2. Most Street Cred? # 3. Highest production values? #4. Best absolute romp? #5. Best use of Chinese Opera meme? #6. Best plot twist comedy? #7. The most beautiful fusion of Chinese folk medicine with fighting arts? #8.

The best ending. It's so refreshing for martial arts fighters. Hope someone else will realise this truth and pass it on.
