Wu Tang Collection - Kung Fu The Invisible Fist WIDESCREEN 

This one of my favorites of all times 😊 I seen this awesome movie 🎬 back in the 70S 😊

This movie opens with the way shotokan karate was taught in Japanese universites. Open field. A Lot of students. White or black belts. No color rank yet until Gichin Funakoshi borrowed the idea from Jigoro Kano, the judo sensei. Kurata and Chen Sing were both goju karate stylists, real life martial artists although the poster billed the fight as karate vs. kung fu. Look at these guys. Straight punches with snap and pullback. Kurata's solid form in his kicks. The final fight was all of twenty something minutes. If fighting while running the 800mm was an Olympic category, its china against Japan for the gold. I didn't see anywhere where they slowed down even with the savage skull beatings by the tonfas and sai exchange. It would have been a treat to see anyone of these guys in a Bruce Lee film. Lee knew them both but they were under a different studio.

I like Widescreen Like this.

Final fight was over the top. I mean how many blows can a man endure? They each took about 500 shots!

Description tells the 2 main characters. Movie is definitely packed with punches. Film quality improves as it goes. Mix of old school & 70's look. A glance ahead: Captain "Ji Ti" (Kurata) works with "Lin San Ti" (Chiang Nan) on the smuggling and slavery. "Tu Dong" (Wong Yuen San) goes to Shanghai with "Lee Ching" (Chen Xing) to help their police. Tu Dong fights to save Anna (Irene Ryder) and they become friends. Friction keeps occurring with Tu Dong and Ji Ti's bodyguard. Lin's son (Michael Chan) only fights at the beginning surprisingly. Once Lee gets his hands on Ji Ti's map to take over China he hunts him down. Great showdown at the end with "Ta Pow" and Little Joker (Han Kwok Choi) and Tu Dong joining in the lengthy fight going on between Hungry Tiger and Crazy Dragon.

1:19:18 for some reason this is my favorite dialogue part in this flick. Gets me everytime. Excellent film!

Ng See Yuen directed some of the best bashers. The action director here was Bruce Liang (who is seen in the early part).

I was surprised to see Yuan Chieh in this movie - and this movie is from 1972, which was the same year he was in "Game of Death" ! He even shows off his physique !

OMG! I have been trying to find this movie since I saw it in the '70s (of course, since the advent of home video!) BUT, it was released in the U.S. under a different title - probably more than one! AND, for some reason, I thought the lead actor was Lo Lieh, which threw me off from finding it. But today, I happened to see a photo of Chen Sing and thought he looks a lot like Lo Lieh with a mustache. So, I started to research his filmography and voila - here it is! I cannot believe I found it after ALL these years! (I still don't know what title I saw it under in '72!)

Their is a major fight scene missing from this version of the film at the 1hr 25 min mark, when Jie Tie and the bodyguard crash the car and the bodyguard gets out to fight the Crazy Dragon, it cuts an entire fight scene with Sue Dong jumping down and taking out Jie Tie's bodyguard.
