I come back to this one once in a while. It's among my favorite martial arts films. Never mess with the weakest son in the family. I was a little surprised at the father's myopic vision - all the more so since he was supposedly a master. He didn't see that his son COULD DEVELOP strength - something the Japanese guy understood well. Then again, if the father saw it, we wouldn't have this movie.

Thank you for uploading this extraordinary martial arts classic. They definitely don't make kung fu movies like this anymore. Even though this classic is part of my childhood. I make it a tradition to watch it at least once or twice a year. Great emotional story, all star cast, amazing display of kung fu, and the music was even on point. This is the best martial arts channel on YT.

I absolutely love this,I bought this on vhs before dvds ever came out and I’ve still got it to this very day,Hong Kong legends released on vhs and then on dvd after and I also bought it on dvd too.This is one of my favourite Yuen Woo Ping movies and Leung Kar Yan and Philip Ko are brilliant in this movie 🙏🏽☯️🙏🏽

I've seen many Kung Fu films over the decades and this one is in my top ten. The fight scenes are great, no question. But the real strength of this film is the story and characters. The bond that develops between Chiang Ho Shan and Fok Yun Gap is great as well as the strengthening of the bond with Yun Gap and his father. The ending scene with the jade pendant falling out and the look on Fok Yun Gap's face is emotional and powerful to say the least. Even someone who typically may not be into Martial Arts films can appreciate this top tier story telling and emotion.

lol its about fighting for sovereignty as china was on the verge of collapse and being colonised by the west (brits/america) and the japanese, china fought back and kicked everyone out and fast forward to today, the imperialists of the united states haven't stopped hence the americans are holding on to taiwan as the last hope to dismantle china and steal its resources, this character is based on a REAL person, jet li played as him in the movie called fok yeun gap, later renamed to fearless by the stupid west, jet li also played as bruce lees persona (fist of legend a fist of fury remake) donnie yen also reprised this role in the 80s tv show and then did a movie called chen zhan returns (bruce lees character)

It's great to see Leung Kar Yan (Liang Chia Jen) playing the heroic lead for once !!! After being the perennial Shaw Brothers villain... Yasuaki Kurata is always superb, whether as a hero or villain... Yasuaki/Shoji Kurata was known as the Japanese Alain Delon...

One of my favorite old school Kung Fu films since I was a young child watching Kung Fu films after Saturday morning cartoons in NY on Fox 5! (No joke, I still almost tear up when he has to face his teacher at the end, and his teacher kept that memento all those years).

Seen the rest, this is the best Huo Yuan Jia film I've seen. Bryan Leung's intensity, charisma, and screen presence are just on another level.

43.40 i dont' speak mandarin but f know who this guy is, he is the master in "fist of fury" who is already dead and bruce lee arrives heart broken, jet li has played both as huo yuan chia and as chen zhan (bruce lees character, donnie yen has played him on the hk tv show and in the new movies) huo yuan chia is also the movies name jet li was in but the west renamed it "fearless" because they're racist, the movie is very emotional about china fighting against the *8 nation alliance* and being on the verge of colonisation from brits/japanese/americans etc

Love this movie The young Yin Gap is one of the late great Simon Yuen aka the Drunken Master beggar So Hai son's. Brian Leung Is the man RIP to the late great Phil Ko. The teacher with the glasses I forgot his name he was in heroes of the East with Gordon Liu he was a good friends of sifu Bruce Lee. He awesome too and Charlie Chan as the young arrogant Eagle claw fighter. Base around the late great Hou Yan Jai Chen Zhen aka Bruce Lee master in fist of Fury. I reality is is said they said those demonic monsters poisoned him. He was a true hero like the Ten Tigers, Fung Si Yue Ho Si Kuan and Wong Fei Hong ect. I personally always hated ass kissers and traitors boiling them in oil.

It's go to see the late great Simon Yuen aka the Drunken Master Sam the seed. A few of his real life sons in this movie young Yin Gap the and one of his older brothers and the man one the boat with the pipe.
