I got to go to the Wu-Wear store back in May 97' Soon as I walked in Cappa was checking out some gear to my left and two shorty's wear chillin behind the register. Cappa was mad cool yo. I copped all kinda gear from there, posters, hats, shirts, pants, two-tone wally's all that. I came back to Cali representing!
Went there back in the day. Hopped on the ferry and guess where it was. Found it hella fast. Met U God and showed him the first digital camera he ever saw. lol
You could never do this today with a rap star b/c everyone would post it online and the store would be mobbed in 10 minutes.... back then - you had to be there to know about it - or you found out the next day like dayummmmm!!! Miss the vibe back then....nobody is sweating the Wu in there, just letting them be people... peace.
Member going there in 99 was 15 min ride from Elizabeth right over the bridge then down victory blvd. Got to meet masta killa nd he signed a tape case i had of killa army. The good ole days.. S.I. 2 N.J💯
I remember they had a Wu-Wear store here in Atlanta, but I never get to go to it and when I did, it was closed down. Those were the days for real back when they had to Wu-Wear stores open.
Man, I just remembered they had a sticker on the door that said "Shoplifters will be shot" I wish I had taken a camera. It was so grimy, you had to get buzzed in, you couldn't just open the door. Real talk! They also had a store next door for women only. The store was called Walking Dogs.... lol!
What shoe's was rae wearin at first i thought they where air jordan 15's.I love how he sits on the floor that shows no matter how much money he has he'll always be himself.
