@@NinjaMindMastery my inner Wu Wei is back full force thanks to your video… I just found myself shouting joyfully at a broken water fountain spewing in my house, “Yay! Wu Wei! What is already destroyed can’t be broken!” I’m not sure if I’m gonna clean up the water or just let it dry by itself. No one’s here to enforce my behavior. What a joy! 😅

@@dreamwavez in rural Texas, especially among the far right MAGA Trump supporters all around me in my tiny lake side neighborhood, even the nicest neighbor believes you should conform to their schedule and culture. I’ve developed a mutual entertainment system. They enjoy riding around in their golf carts, being nosy, and finding things to gossip about. So I enjoy going out at three in the afternoon in my bathrobe when I hear them coming just to watch them do a hard U-turn to come down my road and ask me why I’m not getting up with the chickens since I raise chickens. I just wave and smile and tell them I just didn’t feel like getting dressed in daytime attire today. Then I make a big belch and go back to watering my plants. 😂 They will hastily pretend like they are continuing on down to the end of the dead end dirt road as if they have a purpose. The wife will lean over abruptly and whisper in the husband’s ear. He will start laughing and can barely keep the golf cart on the dirt road. But invariably they get to the end, and they have to turn around and make another pass in front of my place. So I will bend over and give them a shot of my underpants or maybe even move a little closer to the road and when I’m waving, use the arm that’s holding the water hose and spray them as I wave. Of course, then there’s the obligatory “oh so sorry.!” And they gasp & look perturbed & hit the gas to go up the hill to their widowed aunt’s house and sit there over beers for at least the next 30 minutes gossiping all about me to pass the time in their retired days. I get a big kick out of it too, and it breaks up the monotony of my retired day. But every tiny thing I do is magnified by 100 times. Everyone knows when I go to the store and what I bought and how much I spent and if I bought Bud Light beer, so that frequently I’m asked if I plan on voting for Joe Biden. To which I answer “yeah I don’t know when my new hens are going to start laying eggs, but I will be sure to let you know so you can buy a dozen.” And they give me a crazy look & walk off. But… They’ll buy eggs after that. 😂 So yes, you are so right, I’m tagged as the oddball, and they keep a close eye on me… When I first came out here and was doing yoga in the front yard in my traditional harem pants all the ladies decided I was a prostitute because I was a female living alone with no family or friends visiting. Oh, the fun I had with that one for the first year!🤣 I tried to make that one last as long as possible because it was so darn amusing. They had to come by and introduce themselves with no intention of ever coming by again, or even remaining acquaintances except for one or two. They had to know my whole life story, and where my family was from in Texas. They had to approve. Had I said that I was from California, I wouldn’t still be living here. They would have seem to that. But just to be sure, after they saw me doing yoga, one of their spokespersons came by and informed me that there is no anonymous voting in the elections for president around here and that the last person who voted democrat in this district had their house burned down. He said that he just thought I would be interested in knowing that. I don’t think my colorful nose ring helped much either. 😂 In the first month here I got random text messages. I don’t know how they got my cell phone number, but they were calling me a communist and said that this area didn’t need a Satan worshipper dwelling among the righteous Christians. So, just for safety measure, I stopped practicing yoga outdoors and took down my colorful banner with the infinity symbol from my front door. You can only be so much Wu Wei here & must keep it private otherwise you might not have an opportunity to Wu Wei and be spending some indefinite period of time reincarnating. 😂 I’m not quite ready for that, so I just keep my Wu Wei on the down low. It’s pretty easy because I’m a hermit that loves isolation and I’m taking it upon myself to save all the dying stray cats that are irresponsibly turned out into the woods to fend for themselves around here. Of course, that earned me the “ crazy cat lady” title so now I don’t have to worry about social approaches and I’m quite happy being left alone.😂 Thus proving yet again that if you just go with the flow and do what comes naturally, things tend to work out to your favor for the most part, even in a remote national forest in east Texas, surrounded by political extremists. 😂 ❤
