The meaningful part about being a parent is probably the fact that you are living for someone else. You are suspending your own pleasure for the sake of something outside of yourself. If you only live for yourself, that's probably hard to understand.

Being a parent is hard, so I think naturally, unless you have a super strong support system, you will have thoughts of "wtf have I done"? But, I will say that goes away pretty fast when you look at them and they're snuggled against you, or smiling at you, or do something for the first time. Losing your independence is hard to come to terms with, but I would never not choose to have my baby. I also had these thoughts when I got my first dog, lol, so I think it just comes with being attached to another living thing that is dependent on you.

The one piece live action wasn't a master piece but it was pretty good🤷🏽‍♂️

The One Piece live action show covers 95 chapters of the manga, which currently has 1091 chapters. I think that they'll stick to covering roughly one "saga" per season, and One Piece will have 10 (kinda 11 but one is super short) sagas total when it's finished. If it actually gets adapted until the end, I think 10-11 seasons is reasonable to expect. Wubby is doing math based on the amount of anime episodes, but the pacing for the show is pretty fast at the start and then drops off a cliff later in the series, so going by manga chapters is a much better way to judge the live action's pacing. I also don't think that the age of the actors will be an issue tbh. halfway through the series there's already a timeskip, and they can extend the length of that timeskip without much issue if it's really needed

Being the creator of a new community meme/copypasta fills me with joy more than most of my career accomplishments over the years and I do not know how to feel about that.

One Piece is my favorite anime but, Wubby talks about it more than I do at this point.

as a one piece hater i watched the live action and it was fine, i dont think its something you need to invest a lot in like the actual show/manga. just a cool adaptation thats a fun watch

while i agree content will have to be cut for the Live Action show, I think its obvious each season will cover a Saga. I would imagine S2 will cover the rest of the East Blue into the grandline, and end with the end of Alabasta. The first season sets up all of your characters including luffy. assuming they wrap up arabasta, that is about 90 episodes that will be cover for s2 idek if they would even do Skypeia, when water 7 is the much more important arc to get to, and that 60 episodes they can either cut or drastically reduce, but as far as I recall, not a lot of major developments happen in Skypiea that couldn't be fit in else where

for One Piece I'm caught up to latest for manga and anime but unless I know someone has the time to binge chunks of the show or something I wouldn't recommend it to others even tho its got great moments of fight scenes and heart breaking backstories and stuff

I feel like starfield is a solid 7.5/10, but people are giving it 1s and 2s because it isn't a masterpiece that changed the gaming landscape. Honestly it's pretty amusing considering how much the internet collectively was like "DON'T GET HYPED GUYS IT MIGHT SUCK!" and then people got hyped anyway.

Why are one piece fans so adamant on wanting people to like what they like? They make so many excuses as why the issue is with the person watching and not with the show itself. Cool, you put a lot of time into a show you like, but don’t expect everyone to feel the same.

Same people who say one piece is too long are the same people who are on their 40th rewatch of the office; it’s just the fear of starting something new and it’s hardly a real excuse. After my friend recommended me the 3 or 4 stupid-ass isekai I finally had to sit him down to watch it and of course he’s hooked. Blaming the writer for “making too much content” as an excuse to not watch something is not even a good argument.

Even as a little kid seeing it on 4kids I've always disliked One Piece . There's anime I dislike but can stand when they're on. But One Piece I always changed the channel.

We did a watch party for the live action one peice. One person was fully caught up, 2 of us were 200 to 300 episodes in, and the last person has never seen an episode. Not a single one of us spent a moment not screaming at the screen, I don't get it even remotely. We got 3 episodes in before we had to turn it off. Maybe I'm missing something, but the best thing I can say about it is it's better than other live action anime
