I work on patrolling inside buildings and managing fire facilities, so for similar brightness, TA20 is more appropriate than T4 with narrow focus and distance. Plus, TA20 has a better product finish, is a little more tactical and cool in shape. It also feels much better in hand. I think TA20 is the original, and in fact T4 is more of a copycat. But I respect personal taste and its performance.
Thank you for a helpful video, I completely agree with "back-up duty light" to describe TA20. I too have TA20, and was hoping if Nextorch made spotlight version in like 30k candela, as 11k candela isn't enough to see through distance. Now it seems Wuben with similar thought came up with their own. Currently I can't buy one here in Japan, but I'm gonna get it though. Your clip was convincing. May I ask, does it keeps lighting while charging? or automatically shuts off when start charging?
Hi mate, the light is disabled whilst charging. I like that Wuben have used the Osram W2 + SMO reflector, though I think they could drive it harder and decrease the step down time as well. It steps down way too fast (immediately)
@DarrenYeoYT Right, so it behaves just as budget flashlights. Thank you for checking on charging method. Since TA20 is kind of in between spot and flood light, Wuben must have designed it dedicated in short time burst handy searchlight. I'm not certain how symmetric the proto-type is against the actual product, and don't know why they didn't dig down on its runtime, but I like it. Such a niche, but I like it. Come on Wuben, sell me one. NOW.
so i bought 2 SOFIRN SP33S green color for only $30.00 dollars and that flashlight is worth every penny i spend on them so yeah 30.00 dollars for 2 sofirn SP33S witch normally cost around 40 to50 dollars a piece but like i said im not stupid and ill never pay full price or ill never pay what anyone of you would pay for these products lol so go ahead and waist your money on crap products i wont be so how did i TWO sofirn SP33S flashlights for only $30.00 dollars ill tell you lol its because i told the company that im not going to pay what you want ill pay you what you need for this light but i wont pay you what you feel is owed for this product so we made a bargin and i paid $30.00 dollars for 2 sofirn SP33S flashlights and man they work great and are bright so yeah anyone who pays these prices well good for you im not

why dos the thro matter when clearly %90 percent of people cant see passed 200 yards anyways lol and with the longer throw LEDs are trash because there hot spot is so small anyways you couldnt see what your looking at so when a hotspot on a light is so small its worthless so yeah if they had better LED like the SFT40 but thats just how i feel im sure most people dont care if they get ripped off by these companies or not well i do so ill never buy a WUBEN until they lower there prices where there lights should be
What you wrote in your comment is utter BS! 90% cannot see past 200yards?? Thrower hotspot too small?? There is absolutely no problem to see past 500 yards with the right thrower for most people! We do this all the time in my survival school on night tours with young and old people. And the hotspots on throwers are not too small, maybe with some LEP models, but definitely not on LED throwers. If you hate Wuben for some ridiculous reasons, that´s your personal problem, boy! I have absolute no problems with my Wuben models so far, they perform well, like all my Acebeam, Fenix, Wurkkos, Nitecore or Weltool flashlights with no quality issues. And the prices for Wuben flashlights are more than reasonable compared to a lot of other brands, who are much more expensive. I am 56 years old, collecting all kinds of flashlights since 30 years now, so I think, I can say something about this topic!

i bet more then anything it cost WUBEN 5 dollars in parts and materials to make this light so why does it cost so much not like its an American company like O-light is so whats going on this light should be at most 40.00 dollars with battery at most so come on WUBEN grow up and stop ripping people off

Thank goodness for good income folks that can afford to pay asking price so the good companies can keep reinvesting and advancing their line while at the same time are able to make bargains with compassion for the less fortunate folks!
