I'm from NA, but man, 2019 G2 was truly special. I don't think we will ever see a western team at this level again. I really believe it was a perfect mixture of coaching, individual player skill, mental fortitude, confidence, and team chemistry.

Im a G2 fan but if he joins FNC I pray he can find his form he had from 2019

Watching this iteration of G2 play has been the most fun I've ever had watching competitive league. For that I'm really grateful, but I wish this team will not be the least EU team to make me dream.

I miss G2 2019. So ahead of their time in term of understanding of the game and meta and so fun to watch at the same time. + They had the results to back up their trash talk. Shame that Riot changed the game to put stuff like Dragon soul and champs like Aphelios and Viego the tactical and macro moves that G2 were doing against SKT (and other) to come back and win games are not even possible anymore. And don't get me start on the voice comms.

Wow this reminded me of the G2 haydays of 2019. When everyone was among one of the best, if not the best in their roles and was prime contender for worlds. So sad to see them blow up like this... But the year is 2021. Not 2019. 2 years in esports is a long ass time and Wunder has served his purpose. G2 as a team is nothing but a shade of the past, a distance memory that should never be forgotten BUT they are not half of that at the moment. Sometimes it's just tough to let it go... Maybe too tough for many G2 fans but moving on is always the correct option.

What is most impressive for me, is the oposition in this plays, it is not soloq shit, its world semis, msi, play off finals vs DAMWON SKT and FNC. Adam aint bad, but there is a lot to learn still from Wunder.

Champion pool size is directly proportional to talent, talented players can pick up any champion in no time with high potential, other top laners, even some like adam struggle to adapt to new /different champions to bruisers like renekton darius olaf

well if 30% of the 2019 meta came back wunder would be the best in the west again, he could play with any champion because they ALL worked out Neeko,Gragas,Gnar,Akali,Jayce,Ryze,Urgot... nowadays unfortunately Toplane is back to being an isolated island where champions are only good for a followup in a fight at 34minute
