Thanks for that, I’m trying to get used to mine so it’s good to hear you’ve had a bit of a learning curve , I’m having a problem trying to get out of the sat nav map so I’ll go into the garage and try it again ,
What I have found is to keep it simple its easy to get over welmed with all the apps you can use but when to newness wear's off I found all i tend to use it for is a sat nav and music.

I’ve looked within settings and cannot seem to find this? Don’t suppose you could point me in the right direction? Thank you
Thanks for the overview, considering one or the New BMW connected App cradle. Like that the Wonderlinq provides accessibility to most functions and Apps.
I think the Wunderlinq has limited use with the connect ride cradle. Where the Wunderlinq shines is that it will work with most apps where as the cradle only works with the BMW app
Hello and thanks for the video, are you still satisfied? I also normally use MRA for navigation and wish it worked with wonder wheel, does it feel stable, or do you have to restart the app sometimes. Have read some where it says that MRA does not work fully with wunderlinq, thanks in advance.
No unfortunately it doesn't work very well with MRA which is very frustrating I believe the Wunderlinq guys have reached out to the MRA team but didn't get any response. I find the when connected to the Wunderlinq on my bike that when I start the engine the Bluetooth on my phone will reset causing the MRA app to reset and consequently it then goes back to the start of a route. This doesn't cause a problem with any other app only MRA. That said I am happy with the Wunderlinq and if the problem with the MRA app can be solved then I would be over the moon with it.
Hi, good video thank you. I see you have used a quadlock to mount your unit. I’m interested in the installation, have you powered the wireless charger from a usb supply or a switched 12v supply? Does the wunderlinq need a power supply? Every other one I’ve seen still uses the bmw sat mount but yours doesn’t, have you removed it completely? Thanks
The BMW mount was stripped down to the minimum and the Wunderlinq fitted to it then it was all placed behind the bodywork. On my bike I have a Hex easy can which I use one of the feeds to trigger a relay. The relay takes power direct from the battery which I feed the quad lock with using the supplied wiring kit. I find this gives me much faster charging.
@@neilhinkins884 I was under the impression the quadlock could only have a 5v usb power supply? I also have a hexcan so I am really interested in how you have wired that.
@@neilhinkins884 also has it proved to be reliable app wise? I have the new connect cradle which is really well made but limited in what it can do and as wunderlinq supports OSMAnd my go to nav app I am really toying with getting one and selling the cradle.
The wireless charger comes with an adaptor to reduce the voltage to 5v which has fittings to go straight to the battery. But I put it though a relay instead so it goes off when the the Hex easy can powers down.
