Wow, this is a perfect movie for Netflix am telling you for real ... what an outstanding movie and young great actors with well-spoken English without forcing themselves to speak English by tipa by tulasi ... translating Yoruba to English as if na by force to speak what they're incapable of; then end up embarrassing Yorubas in general. I have never been this confused after watching a movie. Nice story line but the theme was all over the place. Whatever happened to his career as an artist? What was the point of Sandras family drama? So many loose ends and so many rushed scenes and so much confusion.
According to the movie , reason why wura's grandma insisted he should not go to city ..... Wura's father was killed by his younger brother due to on proper protect by me ' said by grandma'. there was a murder attempt on his grandma why she escaped to island. So she doesn't want things to repeat itself on wura. She can't afford to lose him....then also he doesn't want wura to reveal his real identity to the world" that his from a billionaire family ".. Later on grandma allow him to go with Sandra 'his friend' . When he get to the town Sandra step mother maltreat him and send him out and call his uncle that he has sent out. Wura go back to beach and police arrested the killer's. And they collect his father's prosperity back and the used guy has CEO of the company. Wura and Sandra in love with each other.

Really nice movie... Grandma did not want wura to go to the city because she was scares he would be killed by his father's younger brother who killed his father's, she later allowed him to go but with instructions at the end they overcame the enemy. Kindly like my comment.
The reason why grandma will not allow Wura to go to the city is because, she doesn't want Wura's identity will not be reveal so that the people sitting on his dad wealth will not kill wura.
Beautiful movie but not sure about outstanding though. There shouldn't be errors associated with outstanding but again, editors could have reviewed just a little bit more. Very little errors could blemish the image of movies abroad, perhaps why we're not getting nominations on the biggest stages. Just as an example... @22:25 when Wura said "all those things MAKED us friends". That is glaring in my opinion.
Akilu Kaltungo We can’t satisfy human being sha. I may not give this movie 💯 but, this movie right here can’t be compared to our typical yoruba movies. They need to work on their editing, no doubt but comparing them to international awards is a no no👎🏽. These guys spoke well, instead of yelling like we see in other yoruba movies. Movies that won international awards started somewhere. This isn’t a bad start for a refined Yoruba movie. ✌🏾
@@temirabiu6094 Well, I guess folks will always be entitled to their opinions, just as I expressed mine. However, some of us have got standards as well as believe that some things are basic. Besides the editing, please check out how the characters were depicted age wise. Is that real? Not by any chance. Mr Paul (who was staged as an ally of Wura's dad) is about his age. Some of these things ain't rocket science but tend more towards common sense. With regards to satisfying humans, well, you've got your opinion on that bit, but note that there are loads of yoruba movies that were acted in YORUBA that made loads of sense and were spot on. It doesn't have to be in English. The movie of the year (PARASITE, that won 4 Oscars) at the just concluded 2020 Oscars was a South Korean movie (acted in South Korean language), what could be more fulfilling for a group of people? There are also good and difficult to fault English-Nigerian movies (if am allowed to call them that) like DRAWING STRENGTHS, you probably should see that one and then revisit your responses.
