Here is the latest from Wurkkos with their FC11 flashlight kit. The Samsung LH351D LED provides 1300 lumens at 5000k with CRI +90 for a very nice beam performance. This has both ramping and steeping UI's for pleasing just about anyone, plus its super easy to use. You can use the magnetic tail cap for easy placement on a metal surfaces so you can have hands free light anywhere. The included battery is powerful and should provide you plenty of runtimes. One note, when in stepless mode (ramp) and you hold down till it blinks in high, that is the full 1300 lumens. In video when Charles demonstrated, he double pressed for turbo and said a small jump, it was in fact already on turbo, now you can double click any where in the stepless mode other then highest setting and it will go straight to the highest mode(turno). Turbo in essence (apart from regular UI) is only available seperate from regular UI in STEP mode. Just clearing that up. Charles is among my favorite flashlight reviewers and is among the most informative.

Thank you for your review! Dang I've been gifting thrunite TC15 to friends and family as presents for the last few years. This one seems to have more function function at half the price! USB C charging really updates it from micro USB era. Ordered a couple 4000K to test out, but could be a winner!

Got one last month and it is a fantastic flashlight! I think they are made by Sofirn and the battery looks like a rewrapped Sofirn battery as well.

Worth noting on the USB-C charging port: it doesn't implement ANY protocol-level negotiation. What this means is that it won't charge with more than 5 volts 500mA, and it won't work with a USB-C to USB-C cable, since it's not smart enough to communicate which direction the energy should flow. It will only work with a USB A to USB C cable, so that the hardware can dictate which end is the charger and which end is the receiver. This is common on cheaper devices that implement USB-C by just slapping the connector onto it. Still miles better than using a micro- or mini USB socket in my opinion.

It arrived today, it is no doubt a cousin to the sofirn sc31b which is my favorite (budget) 18650 for EDC, fc11 might replace it. I will be ordering more no doubt, have four sc31b's. It true that flashlights are another addictive gadget to collect. Myself, like premium to budget

I have the WK30 and it's a great light. Looks like that model has the same switch which I like. I wish you could have showed the charge amperage with a USB tester in the video. Oh and it would be awesome if you could take the battery wrap off to see what exact cell it comes with.

I just noticed an the spec sheet that it charges at 1amp max so no fast charging. 1amp is plenty IMO but I use an external charger myself

Well taking off the wrapper is not needed for I know its an OEM cell under it. Magnet strength is strong which I show in the video that it will hold itself even shaking it. All USB Type C charging ranges from 5.0v to 9.0v respectively using 3.0 or 3.1 chargers so showing the voltages would be useless. I focused on build and performance quality plus how the light works in the real world testing in the night shots. Thanks for watching!

@@CharlesBridgTec well it's not using standard USB C PD or QC so I disagree so only one way to know for sure which is testing it. As far as the battery is it China battery or one from Japan? Samsung, LG, Sony or etc. Makes all the difference. I've rarely seen a flashlight reviewer check the cell which is why I suggested it. I missed the magnet part, I'll rewatch 👍 Yep I was checking the link and missed the magnet test, looks plenty strong

OEM cells are mainly made by 5 companies which are Samsung, Sony, Sanyo, LG or Panasonic only. Companies simply re-warp cells mostly from the 5 companies. As for cheaper batteries China makes a few quality cells but no matter who makes them I test load them, ohms test before and after charging them, then I finally weigh them as well. I also rarely use my flashlights to charge any cells and trust my intelligent chargers only. I don't show testing of the USB port unless the companies have something special like a power bank feature which then I will show voltages. Take care.

@@CharlesBridgTec the more information you can share the better for everyone. Even if some of those things are just in the video description. If you found it had a $10 battery vs a $5 battery I would be more likely to take a chance on the light 😉 I love that you're consistent in showing us all these flashlights and want to see your channel grow and do better. I think adding more details will go along way in helping you and us. I usually have to watch your video then go elsewhere to learn those details before I can make a educated purchase.

Mine does not work out of the package, it's green when i charge it but it does not turn on when i unplug it. Maybe i just don't know how to use it. I was recommended this light by a few people, but i need to send it back or figure out what to do, I'm so let down.

@@CharlesBridgTec i did, and after leaving this comment, i plugged it into my phone charger instead of the cord that came with it, and now it is actually flashing red when charging. Maybe i got a bad cord? Either way I'll test it out and return it if it doesn't work. Thanks for the video :)

Update on the wurkkos fc11, I like it enough I just ordered my fifth one, three in 5000k, one in 6000k, and hope fifth one is 6000k, 4000k is just to warm for me. 5000k is perfect in between but do like 6000k for certain uses, mostly for daytime use.

Just bought one and when I tighten my tailcap all the way while charging it blinks red. I loosen it a little and it’s solid green. Is this normal?

@@CharlesBridgTec yes protection piece is removed. Light works when it’s off the charger. I think the socket is loose or something because if I move it around, it’ll turn green and back to blinking red while charging. So my question is, is it supposed to be blinking while it’s charging?
