Thanks for sharing this. Yours is the first RU-vid video of this light. Good to see Wurkkos quoting accurate lumens this time. Reviews of the TS21 (which I've ordered) say its max lumen rating is way over-quoted.
Hey that's good man finally someone did👍 I really like flood lights.. Have more of those than anything else Being able to have a wall of light Any time you want at a press of a button is pretty good and very convenient.. Especially when it comes to safety and lighting up everything all around you There's more practical uses for them out in a real world in normal situations than you get with the long throwers in most cases..but Having said that.. I alway still carry both styles with me Depending on what im doing at the time But yeh...This thing is pretty awesome My main concern was the temperature and heat wise but it seems to hold that pretty well actually...that's good Great review 👍👍
Great review! But i would ask for one e tra test cause you have lumen tube. Check lumens on high and leave it for 5min and check what are readings after 5min. Curious how big temperature stepdown is on high.
Agree. I had a TS21, which I bought without knowing much about flashlights. Was intended to iluminate the biggest area possible in my backyard (10x30 metres). I was really anoyed trying to direct the “hotspot” all the time. With this TS22, I just turn it on, and all the backyard is evenly flooded. Much more functional!!
Can you compare it to sofirn sp35 as well when you do comparisons, a similar sized flashlight but 2000lm so we can see the difference. Or sc31 pro. And can you test the strobe again? Not being accesible from off doesn't seem right.
Looking for a budget one with a lot of flood but with 3-4 18650/21700. Something that can maintain roughly 5k lumens without stepping down. Max/turbo not really important. Any suggestions appreciated!

I'm not 100% sure if they can hold 5k but I will probably put together a video for you on this one, I have a couple others to add to the list I'm sure one of them will hold 5k comfortably. The color temp is 6000k-6500k according to wurkkos and it's the only temp available so hopefully they come out with a 5000k version, IMHO if I was hiking I would want something with throw and good spill the ts22 will flood everything in front of you for a solid 100m and I believe the specs are 190m, I'm not saying it's not good for hiking but I would choose a different light.
Nice review. Today I received mine TS22 and seem there is missing thermal regulation at all. On turbo mine go to hot around 70 degrees Celsius. Beware about that. Can someone confirm if that thermal regulation work at all.
@@smotheredchrome Thanks. Maybe my unit is defective. Also I think that I prefer to not have thermal regulation. Now I will have great sustain output :) And without that Wurkkos non Anduril lights doesn't have good thermal management.
I have the TS21 and im kinda disappointed with the heat, runtime and green tint at lower lumens. Is the TS22 a lot better or only slightly better performance?
Thank you for your comment 🙏 IMHO I would say alot better I didn't see any green tint in the lower modes but really wasn't concentrating on that in the video, I will tonight check it out and if it is really noticeable I will let you know.
The ts22 heats up like crazy, not a lot of heat sink for the power. If you are going to max it out for long periods wear a glove. Runtime and performance are excellent thanks to the efficient 70.2 LED and the Boost driver.
Is that a Wowtac A5 you had in this video? If so have you ever done a lumen test with it? I have an A5 with a XHP70.2 and I've always wondered how many lumens it actually produces. It's supposed to make 3650 lumens and throw 272m. I never really carry it since its so thick and doesn't really throw as far I thought it would.
@@smotheredchrome I do like the light it's just not one I use very often. I had it mounted to the stabilizer of one of my bows and It worked great for that. it had enough range for anything within bow distance, at least with me shooting it. 😆
i would like to see a video where you compare this wurkkos TS22 against sofrin sp33s and i would like to see witch one is better at throwing and brighter lol but yeah im sure you might even have the video that i want to see lol so ill look for it well brother keep on keepin on ill see you in the next one
Hello, I like your reviews but I look at the way you measure light. It has the measurements and accessories used in its construction, I think he comments on it in a video but without construction data, I don't need precision just to see if one flashlight illuminates more than another. But on your device it's quite accurate with the manufacturer's value of the flashlight, that doesn't happen in iPhone apps, I use Fluke and other brands for my electronics projects, but flashlights are a hobby and I don't need to spend so much on a good meter. Not if if yours is more accurate than the TA8121 or TA8131 or UNI-T UT383S I even saw a very cheap one on offer 9€ BSIDE L1 I think all of these prices are the same. Thank you.
Thank you I appreciate your comment and support 🙏 The strongest single cell flashlight On paper would be the imalent MS03 But I believe my lumintop FW3 pro is brighter and I do believe they have xhp100 or xhp120 but on no name branded flashlights which I haven't tried.
i see the brandX tube dumb flashlights advertising xhp90 online but i have doubts about it being actually 90. also i hate dumb flashlights in general. are there any xhp 50 or 70 comparable to convoys2+ modding(metal clicky, glowing, different tube etc) BUT anduril or similar smarts? convoy is so good except i need to go from off to moonlight(hold) or turbo(2click) or strobe(3click) that to my knowledge convoy does not do.
I'd stay far away from the xhp90 or 120 or whatever the Chinese name them, they're knockoff cree LEDs not doing much more than 1 to 2k lumens, if you want a real cree xhp light on the cheap I'd suggest you go with the more name brand flashlights like sofirn, astrolux (matminco), wurkkos and so on
Thanks for your review. I have a couple of questions for you. I have Sofirn SP33S. I see that it does not have the promised 5000Lm, and after two minutes of operation in turbo mode, or in maximum brightness mode, it shines at 1300-1500Lm, as I see it. That is, the manufacturer is deceiving us. I also really don't like its multi-colored light. In this video I see the beautiful even light of the Wurkkos TS22 and you have shown in the test that it has the same brightness as the Sofirn SP33S. I know that the manufacturer stated that Sofirn shines much further than Wurkkos. Please tell me, does Wurkkos TS22 after a couple of minutes of operation in turbo mode, or maximum, also reduce the brightness? If yes, to what extent? Does Sofirn SP33S really shine much farther and wider than Wurkkos TS22? Which of them has a nicer, more uniform light?
Thank you my friend I appreciate your comment 🙏 Yes the wurkkos ts22 drops quickly after a minute and the sp33s will throw farther. I will do a video for you on these 2 and show you some side by side and run a couple tests.
xhp70.2 in a small flashlight is not a good idea if you intended to use high brightness for extend period.. that led is too powerful and produce hell of heat that tiny body can ever dissipate.. find a slightly bigger flashlight if you want to maintain at higher than 3000lumen for longer period.. i like my sp36 and ec06 for that reason, it handle heat better.

dam brother i really want this light i was going to get the sofirn sp33s but i een this one and its just as bright as the sp33s so but the wurkkos is cheaper well it was but now the prices are going up so not sure if the sofirn still cost more or not by now lol but yeah i want the sofirn sp33s or this light the wurkkos ts22 and i want the wurkkos ts21 but will see i litterly dont get money at all so its not easy for me to get money so it will take me like a month to save up 40 dollars just for a flashlight lol but yeah god bless and ill see you in the next one
ill be inpressed if this light puts put 4000 lumens lol its so small but ive seen brighter in smaller pakage so i wouldnt be saprized but i would be happy lol
