Wurzburg High School in Germany 1966, 1967 and 1968. This video was converted from 3 very short 3 min. 8 MM films. Know students showing up in this film are Myself Allan Boyer AKA Al Boyer, Eileen Wright, Linda Berry, Kevin Lanigan, Stacy Stewart, Jerry Boyer. If you know someone who shows up in this film please let me know and I will add them to the list. When we had it converted the person who converted it put my name for the name of the high school at the start and that was a mistake. I dedicate this film to my Mom and Dad and all the Wolves at Wurzberg American High School

Man, what a blast from the past! We didn't live in Wurzburg but in Bad Kissingen (Daley Barracks), but we'd often come here in the mid - late 1970s to shop at the PX. Gosh, how many times did I hang out in that wooden spectator stand, waiting for my folks to finish their shopping. Leighton Barracks, so many memories of that place.

Wow! I went to Wurzberg Elementary which was built directly across the street from WAHS. I graduated from Ansbach HS in 1998 and did my SAT at WAHS that year. Crazy to see how long some of the buildings have been there especially the Score/Announcing Tower on the Football field. Great video! Thanks for sharing!

WHS Wolves in 63. Bussed in from Wertheim for school. Played football for the Wolves that before moving to Ft. Monroe after the season was over. Went back through Wuerzburg in the early 70s while I was assigned to Germany. Will always remember the 3d ID, Rock of the Marne! The burial detail for my Dad's funeral came from the 3d ID, but from Ft. Stewart, GA where it is now based.
