@@your_average_cultured_dudeit is a big difference in the shadows colors. Shadows in the base games tends to have cooler colors instead of the realistic warm colors that are bounced by the llights in rtx.
Wuthering Wave is already beautiful without ray-tracing, and some of the comparisons don't even look that different from each other, so I'm happy with what I have with this game, and my laptop will fight to it's death to stop me from using ray-tracing lmao
honestly, ray tracing isnt all that impressive imo. Unless this ray tracing is lighter RT like games like Forza Horizon 5 have, in most cases, a 4070 Super would be needed to run games with RT at a decent framerate. A card like the 4060 just doesnt have enough power to run heavier RT smoothly. I dont care about ray tracing all that much personally, i do think it has its audience, but for most people the performance impact just isnt worth it. I owned a 4070 and the rasterized 1440p performance was dissatisfying for the $661 i paid last year. Plus, Asus denied my RMA for a fan issue i had. I switched to a 7900 GRE for $540 and have had a lot better performance in games (up to 30% faster after overclocking the GRE). But if you must have ray tracing and do blender and things like that, a 4070 Super is a nice all around option, and is about 16% faster than the original 4070 at the $580-600 USD pricepoint. But personally if i were you, id wait until the 50 series at either the end of this year or the beginning of next year, and if they are too expensive for you, the 40 series cards will likely only be cheaper by then.
@@Hamborger-wd5jg Any 40xx series card should be able to run ray tracing in this game (at lower settings at least) with frame generation and DLSS, though that comes with a few downsides like slightly incresed input lag
@@Hamborger-wd5jg Tbh, I care more about DLSS and upscaling, that helps way more, nice looking game doesnt always need ray traced shadows and reflections
@@deeptobhattacharyya3249 any time I've used upscaling it's looked bad, I know it's game dependent, but I don't want to buy a GPU to rely on a technology that's basically Russian roulette in terms of quality. I owned a 4070 before my 7900 GRE, and the 192 bit bus and 12gb of vram was pathetic for what I paid. I'm sure my brother doesn't have a problem with it now that I've passed it to him. But I'm getting nearly 30% better rasterization perf after overclocking the $540 GRE
@@deeptobhattacharyya3249 any time ive used dlss in games its been poor quality, i always prefer native. my 4070 before the GRE didnt have the hardware power at all, and i didnt pay $600+ on a gpu just to be handicapped by a technology that not even every game supports
@@woKenVFXit detected as third party program I cant open my game when I'm installed reshade on wuwa Or perhaps im not doing it right, but still, i got warn of using third party program and can possibly get banned
My 4090 is already drooling 🤤🤤🤤 playing Wuthering Waves since release daily on my pc or via GeForce Now ultimate on my phone or tablet during the break, this will be a very nice graphics update 🥰🥰
@@johnvincentcantiga1074 No, you’re wrong ☺️ even on the contrary, but my priorities are not on vacation, food or cars and as someone who works in 3 shifts, it is quite possible to save 1500€ for a thing that is important to you
cool, I asked WuWa devs for RTX. I'm that weirdo. I think we need sunrays in some places, for example how sunrays go down in the cave in minecraft. Would be more beautiful
They working on this instead of releasing a PS5 version, my friend that doesn't have a PC has been waiting a million years for the promised PS5 version so we can play together, I don't care about RT..
Softer shadows, Real-time reflections and more realistic bounce of light. This looks pretty great. RT always has sets the worst first impression because you don’t see the difference initially. However, once you play a few hours with RT on it’s tough to go back to RT off. Even D4 has great RT implementation even though it’s isometric lol
Just depends on the actual implementation tbh RT really should've started off with attempts at full on path tracing. Most games people complained they can't see RT difference are usually ones that just used it for shadows, which tanks performance and can look worse if the game have a great art direction. Stuff like reflections will always look impressive with RT
Does impact have ray tracing 🗣 on that thingy and game will shine and so the pc will become sun fair trade nah but fr Nvidia focusing on Wuthering waves like cyberpunk is crazy add dlss and fg 🗣🗣
*_Guys even without the RayTraicing the game looks fantastic, i did some modifications to the Engine.ini_* in case you want to add it to your file. Just remember setting up texture filtering in your graphics card control panel to X16. -- Also edit the shadows options resolution in your preference, but it looks great as it shows in this configuration. This modification will increase your game performance and reduce stuttering. Better visuals and better performance. *_Engine.ini file lines to add_* Thank me later [SystemSettings] r.SceneColorFringe.Max=0 r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0 r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0 r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0 r.Tonemapper.Quality=1 r.BloomQuality=3 r.ViewDistanceScale=3 foliage.LODDistanceScale=3 r.SSR.Quality=4 r.SSR.Temporal=0 r.SSR.MaxRoughness=1.0 r.SSR.HalfResSceneColor=0 r.Shadow.FilterMethod=0 r.AmbientOcclusionMaxQuality=100 r.Shadow.RadiusThreshold=0.06 r.Shadow.DistanceScale=0.7 r.Shadow.MaxCSMResolution=1024 r.Shadow.MinResolution=1024 r.Shadow.PerObjectShadowMapResolution=1024 r.Shadow.PerObjectResolutionMax=1024 r.Shadow.PerObjectResolutionMin=1024 r.Color.Max=1.1 r.Color.Mid=0.55 r.KuroTonemapping=1 r.kuro.LensflareSunDiskSize=0.1 r.FidelityFX.FSR.RCAS.Sharpness=0.2 r.Streaming.FullyLoadUsedTextures=1 r.Streaming.HLODStrategy=2 r.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=1 r.Streaming.PoolSizeForMeshes=-1 FX.BatchAsync=1 FX.EarlyScheduleAsync=1 fx.Niagara.ForceAutoPooling=1 r.DetailMode=1 r.MaterialQualityLevel=2 r.ScreenSizeCullRatioFactor=2 r.Kuro.GlobalLightQuality=4 a.URO.ForceAnimRate=2 a.URO.ForceInterpolation=1 r.AllowUseAnyLODAsOcclusionData=1 r.InstanceCulling.OcclusionCull=1 r.InstanceCulling.AllowInstanceOrderPreservation=1 r.XGEShaderCompile=0 tick.AllowAsyncTickCleanup=1 tick.AllowAsyncTickDispatch=1 [Core.Log] global=none [WindowsApplication.Accessibility] StickyKeysHotkey=False ToggleKeysHotkey=False FilterKeysHotkey=False StickyKeysConfirmation=False ToggleKeysConfirmation=False FilterKeysConfirmation=False
there's definetly some realisim here and there. specially 0:50 but it's not to the point i can go woah.! i'm playing on my gtx1080 with slightly sharpen game filters. i feel there's no much difference of it and this. but it's says this is not the final and i'm definitely looking forward to it.
I have a rtx 3060 and for some reason all the textures are so blurry (especially surfaces, npcs, etc) no matter what I try. The game looks so sharp in other people’s povs.
Gracias a Dios me compre una 4070super, con eso creo que sobrado voy con el ray tracing, ya que ahorita mismo juego a 60fps en ultra, 1440p, y la gpu no pasa de los 45 grados.
I think rtx is just a nice to have but not essential feature, adding screen space reflections instead is more than enough to enhance visuals without the severe performance hit.
