@@voytecco6104 I do agree with you because look you can play the game on mobile like you can download it it doesn't have the error that it says the game is incompatible with your device but when you download and play the game it's just burns your phone and it makes the game lag and quite literally makes it hard to play and have fun you only have little time to play the game and then your device will be hot as the sun

Don't understand why HSR or WuWa isn't in that category. I'm biased for those 2 over Genshin and ZZZ but at the very least they're of comparable in quality.
They won't release these skins because HOYO, their master and teacher, didn't do that, so they won't either, because Kuro still count on the Genshin audience to come to them and pay them money instead of HOYO.
Considering the game awards is mostly voted on by these western activists who's been trashing Hoyo for lacking "diversity" in Genshin, dont be surprised if it doesnt win this year, they have 90% of the voting power while players only account 10%. Heck, dont expect Stellar Blade or Wukong to win anything either.

It's Gamescom though and they only nominate for games that are showcased there so it doesn't mean much as an award. I feel like Hoyo wants you to only play games made by them, so they make a gacha for each game type. I just wish they made games that aren't gacha as well. Not every game they make needs it. I heard that for the Gamescom they don't really pick games that are out in general but only the ones who decided to participate in their event, if that is true then it could be that Hyv decided to put genshin bcs they want to show Natlan stuff and ZZZ bcs it's new, there is nothing really big happening in HSR right now so probably it's because of that, as for wuwa no idea why they didn't participate lmao, they could have shown or announced more info about the PS5 release but I guess the settled for the china joy.
Yup, basically how it works with Gamescom is that devs/publishers/companies pay them to include their games in categories then gamescom "judges" said games, digital animals is just an NFT site but it is "nominated" lmao. Using Changli, Yinlin and Baizhi as an advertisement strategy isn’t a bad or wrong idea. It does show real content in the game so it isn’t bait, and why not use characters that were designed to be appealing to the main target audience anyway? It’s simple Chinese Gacha game logic. I use these characters and love them but since when playing they’re mostly seen from behind, the front doesn’t matter so much. It’s the attack pattern and vibe they give. Changli’s skill slashes, AoE and bird effect are what piqued my interested so I’d like to show those in an ad. Yinlin’s intro and Liberation are badass and capture her personality well in my opinion so I’d show those too. Baizhi…I do only use her because I want a pretty healer.
Week 1 Genshin player with over 1300 days logged. Quit back in late May/early June. I couldn't go back to Genshin after playing Wuwa, not even for Natlan. Never once considered playing HSR or ZZZ.
While the players hate each other, Kuro actually love Mihoyo. You can't tell me PGR wasn't inspired by Hi3, and so is WuWa inspired by Genshin. Next Kuro gonna make turn based, 100%.

I love both zzz and wuwa, I play zzz as casual and buttons go brr whereas I play wuwa as hardcore and minmaxing shit, I also play genshin from time to time. IDK why people goes for each others throat just enjoy the games and be happy haha

I’m relatively new to the gotcha genre. I play both genshin and wuwa. I haven’t tried zzz yet. Both games are fantastic for different reasons. Wuwa has the combat and rewards, genshin has characters and story
i personally like wuwa cause of the echo system it doenst require me to log in daily to farm artifacts only to roll something bad or decent wuwa how even u can just do quest and explore and kill echos and you'd still be able to build your characters
So far WuWa and more if it goes degen BUT talking about degen ones, Browndust 2 and Snowbreak are head to head, although latest BD2 PV is age restricted 🙄😅

If I had to pick one, it’s probably Genshin. It’s pretty fun and easy open world rpg to be a mobile game, story is great (impressive that they’re even attempting to take inspiration from cultures outside of China), and the music is a banger especially Natlan’s ost (like the main theme song alone could rival Disney or something)
Me, an animal crossing lover that currently plays wuwa and hsr watching like O___O No srsly that's such a smart move to get a new audience. The animal crossing community is dedicated and we have no new content so this could be great.

Honestly i treat zenless zone like any console games because the graphics and vibes just kinda reminds me a little bit of persona. The graphics alone make it look like a console game imo. So i don’t really put ZZZ in the same category as Wuwa, HSR and Genshin
Genshin Impact has a large world and a massive roster of characters. You can complete the story with any character, provide you can draw them. Games can be good without being good for everyone.
I was not even aware of the award and I'll not say wuwa deserved it (Because the mobile sucks to me, I only play on PC), but HSR don't be nominated was a low hit and show that these awards don't mean shit. GI had to change their leader team and make a wuwa patch on the game to stop people leaving and ZZZ is still living the hype. HSR is the only game that is comfortable in it's own lane.
Not really surprised that WuWa isn't nominated in the mobile game awards this year. The game DID have a lot of issues on mobile at launch, and while it has improved a lot, first impressions do matter. That said, I'm 100% rooting for it to get nominated next year. I love the game, and it's improving with every new patch. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Genshin is the best, it’s the OG. People just got burnout, so far it has the most concise story/gameplay. I tried them all, Genshin is just easy to get into and the mechanics and resources are easy to understand. It’s just a war on who can be more complicated, complicated does not equal challenging.

Wuthering Waves isn't nominated because Kuro has zero presence at GamesCom this year. Check the exhibitor list yourself. And you cannot be nominated if you don't submit your game. So WuWa *cannot* be nominated this year - which is okay, because it gives Kuro time to fix all of the bugs.
For anyone wondering why wuwa not nominated because it says "mobile" and majority wuwa know because of the pc client let be honest wuwa has a bit problems although i heard it was fix i don know play wuwa at my laptop and run good no bug.
I like how ZZZ feels on mobile, WuWa is great on PC, but I don't really like the mobile controls. Meanwhile I feel like HSR deserves to be there, it is the most mobile friendly game amongst the hoyo gachas. Recently I've been getting into Arknights, but I feel like it just looses based on popularity.

I dont hate genshin, the game itself, i hate the CEO behind it. I personally think that the game is just fine, even though i dont play it much anymore (edit. I dont follow any of the gacha game awards thingies, mostly because i could care less lol)

In the meantime, I'm just casually rotating through Genshin, WuWa, ZZZ, HSR, Nikke and Snowbreak randomly based on my mood. Whichever game decides to fuck me in the 50/50 gets the doghouse treatment that day. I found that dipping my toes into more games have in fact made me completely disinterested in the usual drama. The funny thing is that it's cheaper now to game than back in the days of pirated games and gratitude for that fact kinda covers the pain of losing 50/50s. Also, I don't think it's actually possible to come up with an objective best gacha of 2024. Whichever wins is definitely a product of bias and/or bri-cough-I mean lobbying. What should happen instead is a 10 minute long video of all the degeneracy inducing moments since this time last year and then you hand the trophy to whichever game has the longest screen time on that reel.
