Look, I love Danjin, but she is not S tier; Mostly agree on Encore and Mortefi, though. (I mean, assuming you are ranking the characters by how well they perform in their best team comp, rather than overall flexibility. Otherwise, Mortefi probably drops to an A for those who did not pull Jyian.)

@@ilikechickennugget9815 Just to clarify, we are talking no dupes, assuming equal level of investment, and assuming you are rotating through all 3 members instead of soloing everything, right? Because if we are comparing solo runs with an s6 Danjin solo to an s0 5* character... Than yeah, Danjin is probably S tier, since she has basically no DPS downtime and has much more accessible dupes when compared to most other DPS characters. Otherwise... Even putting the higher risk aside, her DPS potential actually seems lower than any of the 5* DPS according to pretty much all calculations I've seen from theorycrafters. That said... I could see an argument for Danjin being an S-Tier sub-DPS specifically for Havoc Rover. Although, in that case, you'd probably have to put Jiyan, Mortefi, Encore, Sanhua, Calcharo, Yinlin, and Verina on S tier as well. (At which point literaly half of the characters would be considerd S tier.)

@@ilikechickennugget9815 Yeah, but that is what was talking about! Danjin is really good at SOLO clears, because unlike other DPS, she has zero downtime. But when accounting for team synergy, she is not quite on the same level as the 5* DPS characters, at least not without higher investment. Also, solo Chixia clears do exist... Anyway, I'm not saying Danjin is a weak character at all! I think her placement in the A tier is well deserved, and she might be my favorite character in the game. (Definitely the one I've spent the most time playing so far.) That said, assuming the same level of investment, if you build a team around one of the 5* DPS characters, they can probably clear content easier and quicker compared to a team built around boosting Danjin as the main DPS.

Yeah he knows that but what they mean is it's upto you and your skills mostly how u play

it's a good way for people to know who to use if they want to have an easier time or just like to deal high damage, which is a big point for gacha games.

Taoqi atleast A tier and also she has 2 big reasons to build as a main

Encore is S tier

I use encore without sanhua. She is an absolute crack and insane damage dealer. My encore doesnt need anyone other than healer (or just healing potion) I think of her as an S tier by herself. I build her with 5 star crit rate inferno rider, fusion damage, atk%. All of her echoes are 5 stars.

@@adelynne.7502 Yeah, Encore is t0 regardless of sanhua. I mean, Sanhua is pretty great, especially because of her flexibility, but she doesn't seem to be a MASSIVE power boost in the same way as Mortefi for Jiyan or Yinlin for Calcharo. Also, some CN players are running double DPS comps with Encore + Calcharo or Rover in which they rely more on swap canceling out of long animations instead of outro buffs. (Since the outro buffs are lost upon swap canceling)

@joaomarcoscosta4647 yeah I use double DPS too ! Because not much buff support available right now, so the buff is not too high. I use encore with MC and verina. But thats because I haven't got Jiyan yet. Jiyan can be really useful for encore because he can group enemies.

@@adelynne.7502 Jyian + Encore does sound fun! Jyian + MortefI is probably still stronger, though. (Since, once you set everything up, you can basically just hold the attack button and Jyian and Mortefi will kill everything on the screen. ^^;) I've heard good things about Encore + Yinlin as well. I'm curious to see how that works out.

Nope, she's A. The only S star are yinlin and verina. Jiyan is in the middle of S and A, he would have been S if yinlin and verina were SS.

Also the meta is constantly shifting as new builds r being found, at launch Mortefi was rated C-D tier

Same. Encore is much better in my opinion. The only one who is in par with her (DPS-wise) is Jiyan.

Encore is second best Dps even better than calcharo with yinlin

According to cn bros ,havoc rover is the best dps in the game right now but you need good echos to support him .idk but that's what they say.
