As a long time PGR player, this video is like a wet dream. Thank you so much for this, and the fact you didn't skip it is even better!

I would just say one thing, Vera is Vera! Not Yinlin. They might have the same design and a somewhat similar personality. But Vera is just nasty and badass to another level.

he actually watched it and from the start too! the good thing about this is similar to wuwa characters, they don't specifically perform at face value. some skills can change or have another moveset depending on what you press or hold. it's more noticeable in later characters. a famous question in pgr is " am i the only one who gets confused whether i should hold my dodge button or my attack button when playing these characters?" also hopefully there's one for hi3 too. i only know them for ults as the formula feels similar to jinhsi : like a cinematic experience. unlike in most pgr characters where basic moveset sometimes are more fun to watch.

Bianca Veritas is the one that draws me into the game. the snap on her Blue are just so satisfying + the sniping core.

59:54 yeah, about that, we have a meme in the pgr community that "A"bby" stands for Alpha Chibi (Alpha is that Lucia your comparing with, but the meme was originated from the Newest Lucia Alpha frame "Crimson Weave", wich you will see later, in part 2 or 3 i guess)

So in PGR instead of activating a skill button you have these orbs that appear in the bottom right hand side of the screen you get them when switching to a character as well as attacking and basically you want to ideally have 3 of the same colour because the skill will be at full power and often pinging 3 orbs of the right orb colours activates an effect that synergizes with another orb ping which will activate a new attack or effect/animation. So say you have 1 red orb 2 blue orbs 3 yellow orbs and a blue orb you'd want to ping the 3 yellow orbs in order to get a row of 3 blue orbs to ping. And the orb colours each represent a skill that the character has. And like I said some characters you can activate new skills or effects by pining a certain colour 3 ping and then activating a single ping of another colour. It's requires a lot more skill then WuWa or Genshin. And aside from activating certain special effects or synergizes with other skills you want to do 3 pings because a 3 orb ping means that the skill will be at full power whereas they'll be weaker and won't always activate effects if it's a single or double ping. The 1-2 on the left side of the screen and the 3 on the right side showed the difference between pinging 1-2 orbs of the same colour and pinging 3 orbs of the same colour. I know it sounds complicated but it's fairly easy to learn especially since they have a training area in the game where you can test out and train with all the characters in the game that are released so far regardless of whether you have them unlocked or not. And they also have gameplay tutorials for all the characters and how to activate their effects, skills and the like. So it makes it fairly easy to get their combo's and effects down. The training area is actually that digital looking area where some of the videos your watching are taking place. O and then characters eventually get something called a leap which adds even more attacks and effects to their kit as well as animation changes sometimes. Also yes every character in the game has a element they use.

I mean the characters are not human anymore, there default rank is there rarity so A rank is 4 stars and S rank is 5 stars, if u get same character in gatcha they will convert it to a pieces for you to rank up your chr which will also upgrade chr skills

If u wanna see some peak combat from this game, check out the various perfect parry videos by various creators. The crimson weave ones are my fav. This game is like HI3rd in that dodging perfectly will slow down the surroundings for a few secs, tho it has a cooldown, unlike WuWa where it slows down for a split second and u only get the counter hit off

15:20 fun fact: design wise his counter part in Wuwa is Gen Sulin which was shown in Jiyan demo 22:51 there's not much rarity system in PGR gacha aside from B, A, or S rank Omns while the rest are Uns (a different category but generally all of them are S so it doesn't really matter). But as an F2P in PGR you can upgrade your characters grade even the B rankers to SSS+ grade without cashing at all. On that note it's all about which gameplay is most comfortable so any S-rank pull can be hot shit while A or B rankers are best. Visually speaking, they're all great while you can say the earlier designs like Lucia, Lee, and Watanabe's first designs are way too generic compared to the current A rankers 36:11 there is only 1 B ranker in PGR up till this day and it is Lucia: Lotus which you get as you first play this game, but design wise she and Lee: Palefire are the most visually old 55:53 it means the video is revised version. Not the Lucia getting revised

Those skill balls are we call orbs gained through attacking. Everyone has red , yellow, blue . When we ping or click when three same colour appear they increase their effect or dmg. Unique mechanic to pgr.

from genshin language, the character can be upgraded, once you reacher C6, you can upgrade to tier 2, C7 until C12, then upgrade to tier 3, which is SSS, like C18, then final tier is SSS+, C24
