In this episode I unbox the newest top tier trail offering from The North Face. We all know about Zach Miller's incredible sub 20 hour UTMB in 2023 and THIS is the shoe he ran in! Super foams and carbon plates have made their way into the trail world in a big way with the introduction of the Summit Vectiv Pro 2. Watch as I go through some key points and first impressions.
I paid full price for these puppies and here in the states that came out to $250.00. Definitely a hefty price tag, but with carbon fiber and a few iterations of engineering I think this shoe has the potential to live up to that cost.
I'll be taking these out for 20-30 miles this weekend and will be doing another video about my initial impressions of the shoe. I'm hoping for an easy break-in phase followed by many miles (400-500 lets say) to give this shoe a place in my quiver.
