He looks tall which what WVU has needed since Geno Smith. I have been wondering why Brown has not recruited tall QB's so they can see over the offensive line and down the field.

Is he a dual threat QB ?I ask because Neal said that is all he is gping to recruit,because the game has evolved to that style of QB ,which i agree with 100% ! Burt i ask the real reason i ask is because he signed Boyle in lsst yrs class that he hsd classified as dual threat QB .But i looked at his rushing stats and as a Jr or Sr, i forget which yr but that season he rushed for just over 200yds.That is not what i or most people would consider a true dual threat QB!

Jerry I believe he was in a pass first offense in HS which may be the reason for the low rushing stats. But, Mike joseph and the S&C program have done a phenomenal job increasing speed of the QBs. Boyle arrived in the Spring and throughout the offseason has gotten a lot faster, according to the coaching staff he is hitting 21 MPH which is right up there with our faster players so although he may not have ran it a lot in HS he will be at WVU. Coaching Staff is solely recruiting QBs that can be dual threats. Don't believe Nicco was considered a true dual threat coming out either but he has shown great running capabilities. Think with GG, Nicco, Boyle, Wilkins and now Fox, WVU has a slew of QBs who can all hurt defenses with both their arms or their legs! Thanks for the comment Jerry!

I hope your right,but seriouslt how much faster can you get? I tend to thnk it's a God given talent with maybe minimal increase. I still prefer a High School kid that comes in with somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500 yds passing and around 800yds rushing or more.That would make me feel a lot better that he can run as well as throw. But that's just me.

The only thing is with the transport portal horror this may change. Hopefully he keeps his commitment or some other school does not steal him away from WVU.

Who knows if he will stay committed or if the next coaching staff will want him, since we're about to switch head coaches.

@@lidsolbarnes8446 we already lost one athletic director for giving Neal Brown a contract extension. Trust me Baker wants to move on soon as possible he wants his guy before a new president comes in in 2025 and possibly cleans house.
