My grandfathers and brothers of my grandfathers also fought in WW2. One grandfather participated in the liberation of Warsaw, Prague and in the battle for Berlin. I don’t know anything about the second one, I only know that he also had a post-traumatic disorder, he had small hallucinations and he fell down and screamed at night, because he dreamed of a war. They were Soviet soldiers

@@Anonymous-qj3sf My father always told me that the Soviet soldiers had a lot to endure. So, I am not surprised they had PTSD as well. I was fortunate to meet some Soviet WW2 soldiers my dad helped when they were able to come to the US. Dad had one Soviet friend he spent a lot of time with----he seemed to understand my Dad better than most people ---and he became my piano teacher. I am a decent pianist, and "specialize" in Tchaikovsky. Dad spent time in Berlin at the end--so he spent time with Germans and Soviets/Russians---from his experiences, I learned to respect all cultures. I love the Russian culture and people, as well as the Germans.

you do know that at most it had 80mm of frontal armor at the front. Asuming this is the M9 you got 80mm of armor vs 102mm of penetration. How are you suprised the tank got penned?

I did some research on the M9 and I'm a bit confused as to what exactly the M9 is even doing in this game when they were called M1 and M1A1 by 1942. The M9 didn't come until much later when the M10 grenade (its ammo) was replaced with the M6A3 rocket (which would have 120mm pen). The M1 with the M6 rocket only had up to 80mm pen while the M1A1 with the M6A1 rocket had up to 100mm pen but these statistics never took in slope or quality of armor used on the German tanks and there aren't any records I can find stating that they could pen a Panzer IV. There's a record of one taking out a Tiger I but that was a lucky shot through the driver's vision port.

Didnt know that about the M9. I do know the M1 was regularly used against tanks in close quarters, but I also know it was rarely if ever used as the primary AT weapon everywhere else.

Only the H model onward had 80mm. Before was 50mm upper

anonymer apfel because the mg42 was supposed to be op. In real life the MG42 was crazy, way crazier than they could handle in a game (for multiplayer purposes) therefore, they dropped the FPS for the mg42 and also had to drop the FPS for the Browning 1919.
