I actually like this World War II scenario it’s probably the most realistic with the Germany winning the European front, because realistically, the Pacific front was doomed to be a loss with the Americans involved. Good job on mapping
Was it doomed though? If the Japanese had more luck in their naval battles, they would have managed to wipe out the American navy. And after that they would have enough time to crush all the colonies im the Pacific and fortify their positions enough to repel an American counterattack
Oh my gosh, you're definitely my favorite editor, your videos are amazing, what if you do a scenario where Japan and Germany win but don't invade the Americas? A kind of triple cold war, Europe, Asia and Africa spread out as in The Man in the High Castle except America
Questions 1. Why did Free France give up to get Indochina back? 2. What happened to the Chinese warlords and CCP after the war? 3. Why was Yemen unified earlier than OTL? 4. How did the Communist Party of Vietnam take over Vietnam?
if you don't know in the irl timeline Communist party of vietnam have do an august revolution in 1945 and declare independent in 2/9/1945 ,.So I think the reason why free france don't get Indochina back is because amercian in this timeline recognize the indochinese independent.
Hello! Italian Mapper! Is Dalibor again and i must give you my comment about your WW2 Axis power Victory in 1946. First, i was fast spotted that Germany made the same mistakes in 1941 with the USSR. Also, I spotted that Italy and Germany declared war to USA, after attacking of Japanese Empire on Pearl Harbour. That were serious mistakes why Italy and Germany, with Japan lost ww2 in 1945, in our timeline. Even if Germany was more successful in the USSR, in the years 1941 and 1942 like you showed the people. That would not be guarantee that the Axis forces would win the USSR, because it would be too risky and like that the Axis forces could lost that long war with Soviets, even in that alternative version of history. The USSR is a huge state with a lots of terrain, huge manpower and with stubborn soviet generals and the Red army. With American help that could finish in big disaster, even if Germans reached oil fields on the south of USSR, near Caucasus mountains and catch big cities, like Leningrad, Stalingrad and Moscow. If you ask me, the main recipe for winning ww2 is not attacking the USSR and not declare war to USA, after Japanese aggression on that American base of Pearl Harbour. Germany and Italy must together secure first all Mediterranean sea against British Empire. That would do Italian Navy with help of German Luftwaffe and maybe some French, Spanish and Turkish help if that powers joined to Axis powers in 1941 and 1942. Than, the North Africa must be secured. That mean, in 1941, British must be pushed from Libya and Egypt, before Christmas of that year. In 1942, the Middle East must be secured and oil fields in Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar, and Saudi Arabia too. That must be secured before winter 1942/1943. Later, in early 1943 is possible secure the rest of the Middle East or Iran and west part of Far East or Pakistan. If that would be secured before July, 1943, than Japan can take all the rest of India and Ceylon. All Axis powers forces can be linked in India in the summer of 1943 and war is over. Of course, the USA can continuing the war with Japan, but Germany then can, in 1943 and 1944 finish all air craft carriers and with Italian Navy help Japan fight from Red sea and Indian ocean. In that situation, Germany could help Japan with 4 air craft carriers, and even Italy could built at least two air craft carriers. Or, European Axis powers forces could abandon that plan and attack the USSR, but after 1945. But, first, Japan must be secured of collapse. Because, Japanese Empire could not win alone the USA on the Pacific Theater. PS: Your version is not bad. Your mapping is very precise and good, but I am afraid it could not be feasible for winning of Axis powers in 1946 or in 1947. But, it is possible that in 1942 or even in 1943. That looks to me more realistic and feasible. Be saluted, my Italian friend, and please think about my suggestions of that kind of Axis power real chance to win ww2.✌👍🤛
Very interesting I agree with you, I dont understand if you got it but this video is based on the "thousand week reich" mod of hearts of iron 4, in which the soviet union collapsed in itself. I completely agree about he USSR being a solid and stubborn union, so they wouldnt realisticallly fall apart. Your suggestion about how they could have had a realistic chance of winning is plausible i will surely take that in mind for a future scenario, after the video break with other videos not related with ww2 Thanks 🐺🐺

I have a suggestion how about Germany takes out the Soviet Union but Turkey, Italy, Sweden, and Finland join the allies and germany still loses from the east and west.
TWR is definitely the best Axis victory scenario. It also makes you realize just how important Dunkirk and the Battle for Britain were. If the Empire surrendered or made peace, Germany probably could've won. Though there are some unrealistic elements. Germany would take way more of France than just Alsace-Lorraine; IIRC they actually set aside a way bigger area corresponding to the medieval kingdom of Burgundy for German settlement. Also, Free French forces didn't take French West Africa until 1942, and in this timeline I think they would have been defeated in Equatorial Africa. The USSR breaking up is also pretty unrealistic, the most realistic outcome to me is Stalin dying and a bitter power struggle follows with the Red Army under Zhukov or someone like that taking control of the country, becoming a military dictatorship. Germany would probably take the Belgian and French Congos, Spain would take Gabon, Italy would take Chad. Switzerland would probably be partitioned with Italy. I think the National Party in South Africa would attempt to align with the Axis. Turkey might also be persuaded to take Armenia and Azerbaijan, maybe even Syria and Lebanon. Apart from the US, the other major power I see in this timeline would be the Republic of China, which could expand into Tibet, Turkestan, and Mongolia. I think you'd see an "Economic Miracle of China" similar to Japan in our timeline. Without a strong USSR to prop it up Communist rebellion would be put down. Finally, I doubt Germany makes it to the 1960s. A renewed Soviet offensive backed by the Americans, Britain possibly re-entering the war and the opportunities for a landing in France, the power vacuum after the death of Hitler, massive partisan activity and difficulties with controlling all of this land..and to top it all off: A collapsing economy with massive discontent from German colonists in the east, who were promised a bountiful land to settle and instead got a dystopian hellscape filled with partisans, raids, and rebellion. Italy would have increasing discontent towards Germany and a lack of significant gains in the war, just like in WWI. I think you could even see an Italian Civil War like in our timeline, with an increasingly unpopular Mussolini becoming at odds with the monarchy. World War III would practically be inevitable and quickly escalate into nuclear war, Europe probably ends up an atomic wasteland. Hundreds of millions dead. Germany as a nation annihilated. Remaining Axis powers quickly capitulating. Afterwards, millions of Europeans would flee the terrible, almost medieval conditions in Europe to remaining colonies, you'd see a lot more conflicts like Rhodesia and Algeria. The USA would be responsible for resolving this shitshow and rebuilding the world, which it probably wouldn't want to do, likely retreating into isolationism, especially with no real foreign threats. Some organisation like the UN would be established to manage occupied regions, but with a lot more power than in our timeline. The "Thousand Weeks" would be remembered as absolute hell on Earth; entire ethnic groups enslaved and eradicated, once beautiful landscapes turned into apocalyptic nightmares. I could see the first half of the 20th Century being seen as equivalent to the black death, one long traumatising event. When, in the aftermath of rapid industrialisation and technological advancement, Europe destroyed itself in the penultimate climax of nationalistic fervour. In the ruins of old empires, the third world might rise up to fill the massive power vacuum.
France wasn't occupied in this timeline they gave up in Dunkirk and france became a military dictatorship german had belguim and the neatherlands as thier land not reichskommissariats
