Video class, I definitely like it! But it seems to me that using heavy bombers as attack aircraft is not quite right. Instead of gaining altitude, they, on the contrary, fell under the crossfire of anti-aircraft installations))
I love these vids but they would be so much better with some structure. Like have the bombers spread out and stay at the same elevation in formation. Have the AA spread and post up in positions not just driving all over hell and creation shooting.
I want to know what it would look like if you got an entire Server to fly F.222.2 and have everybode line up wing to wing, and then do a coordinated drop. Like that would be so many bombs falling through the sky.
I've noticed that in a lot of the plane vs AA videos I've seen that the AA always clusters together, not bunched up but close enough that their guns create a wall of fire which is also close enough for a bomb to take out multiple units. So I've got 2 ideas for if you choose to revisit this challenge: 1) I'd like to see where a small group is sitting off a good distance from the main group creating a crossfire, it sounds like a good idea in theory but would like to see how it pans out. 2) I'd like to see if some players could try to use the terrain to their advantage and 2 small groups break off to try and flank them from either side. So the main group circles in a holding pattern until the smaller groups can get in position to come in from the left and right sides, once in position all 3 groups converge on the targets. At least this way the AA should be overwhelmed.
I think giving the AA a set space to hide in would balance things out. If an AA is hiding and moving, it’s rly hard for a big f22222222 to hit it. Then u could have a bunch of f22222 go in formation and just carpet bomb da heck out of them :)
One thing I noticed playing warthunder and many other FPS shooter games, people don’t understand how to use AA or leading and tracking, all the rounds going way behind the bombers they’re aiming at is a sign of this, there’s a reason why you have .50s on the top of most US tanks, they’re anti aircraft guns lmao. I think people should really invest in learning the button to aim just the aa .50 and you’ll do better with most AA over time and be able to defend yourself and team mates.
Ya well no bomber drops bombs from under 2000m.. that's an attacker CAS thing. All the MG's and even 20mm would barely reach them if they flew at proper height. Only the bigger guns would reach them, with any accuracy.
I'm sure the last one woulda been different if all the spaas were modern spaas. Like all brrrr or Tunguska. Also I wonder if Santa did exist but got shot down by aa fire once🤔
G'day, Watching these duel videos has made me remember an idea that could work for a battle. Clemson class destroyer USS Lichfield DD-336 Vs Kawasaki Ki-32 light bomber. In this fight the DD-336 would have to rely on it's sole AA the 3"/23 Mk.4 which has a HE-DF shell, Meanwhile the bombers get their speed and agility with 9×50kg bombs. I tested this with four players once and prior to the AA shell introduction yet with two mass teams of players it would be glorious. Hmm if looking at the video if the AA had accounted for a higher alt and teamed up to make flak batteries with barrels around 40 mm the carnage would've been over sooner with timed barrages against single threats vs the absolute mayhem yet mayhem is cooler to watch. Still another thought would be howitzers Vs bombers especially things like the Bkan C1..
They are high altitude bombers so at least 1500 m SPAA's should only get limited area to move (realistic condition) Bombers should move in formation and they could level entire map in single run In short,this was just dumb
