Iv only recently got in to stropping my knives, I just use those green cubes off ebay for a couple of quid and a bit of an old office carpet tile... Oh my days , its changed my life, being able to bring all my old knives up to hair popping spec and like you say just loosing yourself for an hour or so at the kitchen table or even better by a fire. Wish id got onto it sooner because my carving would be better . See you in the next one .

Great video Funky. I am watching this just minutes before I go and sell off my snowmobile. Can't ride it due to medical issues dealing with the cold. I am also gonna be busy rebuilding my pickup bed this weekend.

Try adding a splash of milk or if you like black coffee a splash of cold water before adding boiling water as this scorches the coffee making it bitter,or boiled water that's been off for 10 minutes you will enjoy a much smoother cup of coffee,hope this helps
Great video funky, love the stir fry. There is something called passata which is like a tomato sauce available in all supermarkets, I think its vegan friendly. If you liked stir fry with some sauce that could be a great addition. All the best.

I've noticed that "carlisle195" uses a welders glove for removing hot objects off the fire. I use them for gardening gloves by the way, great for ripping out brambles. :)
Darren FYI boiling water does not kill all bacteria cysts and viruses - this is why once you have filtered and boiled the water then let it cool the military uses water purification tablets before drinking the purified water. The water purification tablets typically contain chlorine, chlorine dioxide or iodine. These chemicals deactivate bacteria, viruses and parasitic protozoans, rendering them harmless and safe for consumption

Watching you ‘use’ that saw was torture. FFS learn how to use it. It only cuts on the pull to stop you pushing and warping the blade. A firm pull, and gentle push. You will break your saw using it as you do, and you are wasting energy.
FFS, goes on about putting crap in your body, vegan this, veggie that and then smokes a massive cigar? You need to pack that in mate, you've got a little one on the way to look out for! And don't give it the typical BS about "not inhaling" :-p

Judging by your conviction to your statement you either smoke or ride a motorbike? Anyhow it's called risk management and agree that in certain walks of life you can't always effectively avoid it. BUT your argument is pointless. Being a soldier or fire fighter is done for an income ultimately, perhaps a thrill to some but you don't get paid to ride a motor bike (in general) and in my opinion is a selfish act when you have a family to look after. You ride a motorbike for either an adrenalin rush or pleasure not out of necessity. ALSO if you re-read my original comment the "kid on the way" point was an attempt at instilling motivation to quit smoking not my main argument. The point I was trying to get across was that he bangs on about not being unhealthy through eating crap and by following the vegan way of life to avoid medication and health issues in later life YET still smokes, which regardless if its a cigar or not is proven to give you serious health problems. I think you're miss informed about WIFI giving you cancer, WiFi operates in the 2 to 5 GHz range -- part of the microwave portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. Did I just see you wash your mess tin and spoon in the filthy stream water- you have just contaminated you mess tin and spoon - you should have washed both with the water you at least boiled. Basic mistake Darren and could lead to sickness.
